Abstract
The purpose of this abstract is to strategically assess the growth of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), a publicly traded company and to create a strategic business analysis. The company’s mission and vision statement is analyzed against its performance. Apple’s current business strategy is evaluated as to how the company will develop a sustainable competitive advantage using a cost, differentiation, or niche strategy. (Jones, 2013). A SWOT analysis is performed that shows the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the internal and external environments. The current leader of April is evaluated, and an effective leadership system is designed which is most appropriate for the company. Apple’s business models were evaluated and compared to the model deemed the best for the company. It is determined that Apple has expanded globally, the impact of globalization upon Apple’s business is analyzed. A comprehensive, meaningful, and relevant code of conduct upon Apple’s business and supplier’s responsibility that provided clear guidelines for ethical behaviors and decisions were analyzed. A comprehensive growth matrix for Apple was developed using tools such as the product life cycle which showed the most profitable stage in the cycle that increases long-term market development, product development to help companies grow. Apple’s core competencies and diversification were explained as options for growth for Apple Inc.sales, and the Ansoff’s Growth Matrix which shows four growth strategies: market penetration,
