Woman Running
The organization of the stimuli appears to be disorganized at first glance. However, when you take a closer look you can first see a woman running. The women appears to be the figure-ground of the poster, because it is generally the first things that grabs the audience’s attention. You can see the women running on the well-known cancer ribbon weaving from one side of the poster to the other, looking almost like a path. Another way to look at the woman running, is as though she’s running towards the city of Des Moines. The pink and white lines behind the city landscape add to the background of the power. It appears almost to look like an explosion behind the cityscape. All of the stimuli are in close proximity to each other, making them seem as though they all belong together. This advertisement also shows closure. This is done by giving the basic information about the date and general location on the even. However it leads the audience to register online for the event, which will also lead the customer to a specific time and location of …show more content…
Firstly, by putting the woman running as the figure-ground, it automatically captured my attention about what the ad was actually for. At first I figured it was for some sort of sports team, until I realized the ribbon in close proximity to the woman running. And then big light switch moment, when I realized that nearly the whole poster was pink. These small graphic and colors tied together to create a bigger picture for me of then knowing, it was for breast cancer awareness. Once I realized the inference, I then began to look at the text about the event location and date, which was right above the drawing. Overall I think that this was a great advertisement to capture the audience’s attention, and allow them to draw their own conclusions and evoke feelings by looking at the

The producers of this commercial knew its target audience and went after it. It had a strong attention getter. Right from the beginning this commercial had my attention and maintained it throughout the entirety of the advertisement. It had strong appeals to pathos, ethos, and logos. This commercial worked for me, but for others I can see how this commercial came up short in getting their attention. For example, my views towards the music choice, the girl, and scenery corresponded well with what I wanted to see, but if you asked my mother about the commercial I’m sure there would be a completely different reaction to the commercial. In fact when I was watching the commercial in class in preparation for writing this analysis the girl who sits behind me watched the commercial over my shoulder and said that she thought the commercial was “ stupid”. It wasn’t until this moment that I realized the importance of pathos, ethos, and logos and how different each person’s appeals truly…

The advertisement has a very good focal point. When first viewing the advertisement, you are immediately drawn to the photo of the man standing on top of the skyscraper. This photo supports the key message of the ad: that your business can stand out in Rancho Cucamonga. The ad is mostly readable. The color scheme of the ad provides good contrast between the text and the background. For example, the lavender text of the message of the ad can be easily seen on the blue background of the photo. The ad also exhibits good symmetry. The top of the ad focuses on grabbing the reader’s attention, while the bottom of the ad tries to persuade the reader using detailed proof. This use of symmetry also makes the ad look well organized. The preferred audience, corporations looking to relocate, may be more drawn to the ad due to its organization.…

They made two adverts, one was before its release, and another one after it .I think they made a clear message because the content of the poster is clear and straight to the point. The first one says “Greatness Awaits”. The advert was very good, it has a short and very powerful meaning. The second one says “This is for the Players”; I think this one is quite individual and it brings an impression that is just for a certain group of people. I think the second one could be improved in a way that every person would like it, even if they don’t know how to use it, to inspire people to have it, such as “Where the Connected world is” or “The Greatness of the Entertainment”. Apart from that, the image in the advertisement…

This advertisement is trying to convince its viewers that if you buy the foods they are selling, you can have a dramatic loss in weight. The ad shows a before and after picture comparing the two and how much skinnier she is now just because of eating these foods. Also, it shows a text of how much weight she has lost, and article of how it changed her life, a quote in big bold letters, samples of the food and at the bottom, and it shows the name of the product that is in big bold letters so it gets every ones attention. The emotional appeal I think this one has is the need for attention because of the face that you want to lose all this weight to look good for other people and is not happy with the way your body is already. In my opinion, this does manipulate the public dramatically because everyone wants that great look you can get by slimming down easy.…

This picture speaks for itself, without speech nor too much text. I found this advertisement to be very persuasive, even though I don't buy General Motors products. I found myself wanting an old, reliable truck, a truck I could depend on, a truck once owned by my dad. In reviewing this video several times, I find the execution to be spot on. If I were to change anything, it would have been the weather. I think an overcast day, with a light rain would have brought another layer to the emotion, especially at the end, when the family leaves the shop on foot. If it was raining, and the family were under an umbrella, it would have emphasized their commitment to fixing the truck, no matter how they might be…

The tone used to convey the message is a very serious one, as made evident by the stern expression on the male modeling for the picture, as well as the lack of color. The image does not ask any questions, instead choosing to instill its message with facts and a command, relying on the viewer to both use their logic to think about how their actions could impact others, and to listen to the advice given by the ad which comes from a trusted source. Through this analysis, one can gather that the advertisers are using logos and ethos to appeal to the viewer. When all this is considered, the message given through the straight, black and white font has a deeper impact,…

This advertisement shows a gun on the left and a cell phone on the right covered in blood. There is not a lot going in this advertisement, but the few things that it has are powerful and don’t require a lot of explaining. Above the objects are two words, which say, “Russian Roulette” and on the bottom is a small paragraph of how texting and driving can kill and the consequences of doing so. This advertisement shows the negative effects of what can happen when someone decides to text and drive. The font that was chosen gives a serious tone and tells the viewer that this message is important.…

This advertisement is incredibly persuasive due to the extended use of Ethos, Logos, and Pathos. The goal of the advertisement is to show you exactly what could happen when distracted driving.
