First, his constant wars and the rebuilding of Constantinople after the Nika Riot caused serious financial problems for the empire. The reconstruction of the Hagia Sophia alone cost about 320,000 pounds of gold. Second, Justinian left the Byzantine army scattered across the empire. Many units were occupied fighting fierce nomads. One of these groups, a Germanic barbarian tribe called the Lombards, had managed to conquer much of northern Italy. The thinly-spread Byzantine forces fought to prevent the Lombards from pushing further into Italy. Finally, during the last years of Justinian’s reign, the empire suffered from several attacks of bubonic plague. Called Justinian’s Plague by modern historians, the illness killed millions of people. This created a severe shortage of human power, which weakened the military and the government.…

A one on one nurse to patient relationship revolves around the nurse being a direct part of the relationship, while allowing the patient the one to do the work. In a sense the nurse is there as a guide in the relationship. The patient is the one that has to conceptualize, cope, and face their own problems. The nurse while guiding the patient in the right direction; opens new areas for healing. Three components of the nurse to patient’s relationship are to understand the patient’s attitude toward suffering and their manner of dealing with the illness. The nurse helps to facilitate communication and socialization, along with other important goals, a total of nine goals; that have been previously established and are a guide to a successful relationship. Both the nurse and the patient have to learn from and build upon the interactive process. One benefit that both the patient and the nurse get is a meaningful relationship, which each individual will learn something new and progress of some sort will be hopefully made. The patient will by the end of the relationship, hopefully be able to expand of their ability to face reality. The patient will also benefit from a new sense of being able to communicate and socialize with others around them. I really think that is an important goal as, a lot of things with in the relationship itself, not to mention the patient’s life revolve around this skill. The patient will have benefit greatly from having the ability to participate in the community around them. Throughout the process of developing and building the one on one relationship with the patient, the nurse will become aware of their strengths and their weaknesses. This is important for the nurse because it will help directly with that patient and future patients as well, hopefully making the process more and more successful. The nurse will also have the chance to learn some new things about themselves and…
