Activity No. : 4
Activity Title: Sentence Activity

Introduction:
A sentence is a grammatical unit consisting of one or more words that are grammatically linked. A sentence can include words grouped meaningfully to express a statement, question, exclamation, request, command or suggestion. As with all language expressions, sentences might contain function and content words and contain properties distinct to natural language, such as characteristic intonation and timing patterns. Sentences are generally characterized in most languages by the presence of a finite verb.
Sentence structure is the order and arrangement of the clauses in a sentence, which is a group of words that express a complete thought. Three of the most common types of sentence structure are simple, compound, and complex sentences. Each of these can be identified by the number and types of clauses found within them.
