In todays technologically advanced world, school counselors often use different technologies to enhance and support the school counseling program (Dollarhide & Saginak, 2012). School counselors can use computers in various ways to support the school counseling program such as increasing the understanding of the role of a school counselor, showing how the school counseling program fosters student development, informing stakeholders of the school counseling services, networking, contacting businesses and other agencies, and providing access to information for students (Dollarhide & Saginak, 2012). Therefore, school counselors should become comfortable with using computers and other forms of technology so that the school counseling program, students and other stakeholders can benefit. The site would be very beneficial for the student to use at home because of the videos and games, and would give students time to explore careers in a safe online environment. It would also be beneficial to use the site during classroom guidance lessons to promote career interests. For instance, the counselor could do a guidance lesson or small group counseling lesson and have the students watch a short video from the site about a career and then have students draw or write about why they would or would not like that type of career.
