Romeo And Juliet Conflicts
In Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet a person vs person conflict presents itself between two houses, the Montagues and the Capulets. The conflict becomes apparent that two families, or houses, have a blood feud, as it states in the prologue of the book, in regards to the two houses, “From ancient grudge” (prologue). Both houses confront each other often as each clan is fastidious to try and find a reason to initiate a verbal confrontation, no matter the social status.” ‘Do you bite your thumb at me sir?/ I do bite my thumb, sir.’”(1.1.4-6).In this era biting your thumb was a great insult. Through verbal accusations such as this a person vs person conflict procures itself, even though this event occurs between servants with no connection
