In the love story of “Romeo and Juliet”, violence has an immense affect that determines certain outcomes in the story. Even today, a great deal of violence is going on everywhere for reasons that no one can explain. Many people can connect this violence that has been going on to the story of “Romeo and Juliet”. In their society violence pretty much destroyed everything, especially them. The story ends tragically and in the end the hatred and violence goes away, but the families had to learn a difficult lesson to get there. Today there are always disagreements and occasionally wars happening between countries. Recently in Ferguson, Missouri there have been fights and riots happening because of the death of Michael Brown. This was a big case because a white police officer shot an unarmed African-American. There has been riots in the city from protesters while police were trying to stop it. Also shooting of police officers happened the past few days. At the beginning of the story some of the servants got in a fight that ended up having even Lord Montague and Lord Capulet fighting. There were also sword fights between Tybalt and Romeo because Tybalt didn’t wanted his family honor to go to shame.
