Personal Narrative: My Owls
It is 5 AM in the morning, my room was just plain dark as if there was no existence. I noticed my door open with a loud *Squeeeeak*, a quick hand motion I saw, almost looked it something of the speed of light. My owl next to my door was gone, I screamed out loud scared, yelling “WHOS THERE?” no one replied but a very loud *Screeeeetch*. There was someone moving down the staircase, the sounds it made spooked me. I thought to myself “Who would steal a stuffed owl?” could it be my brother or sister? I quickly just closed my door, locked it, and turned on my lights. I saw my baseball bat under all my stuffed animals, while grabbing it I grabbed my stuffed bird. Unlocking my door and going in the hall way that’s almost just like a void, seeing a …show more content…
The paper read: “I have always been jealous, today this Christmas my brother got a stuffed owl, I have always wanted a stuffed animal but I never get anything. I am going to do something bad to his owl”. I quickly ran down stairs to see sprinkles of light flying everywhere, the cotton off my stuffed owl looked like a raining meteorite. I fell down on my knees, crying, it was just as something just hit me on my chest super hard. I said “Why…. Why… WHYYYY?” My sister stared at me, her eyes glowing as flames vanish my owl in ashes. She makes a vicious laugh “Mawa hahah” “Did you really think I’m going to make you keep that stuffed owl?” Ha that’s not going to happen instead you can have it in ashes, you can now feel the pain I go through every time we open up presents during Christmas. I never get something that I want, I always get something that I don’t ask for. She runs into her room and shuts the door *BANG*. As I was crying in tears, falling from my eyes to the wooden floor I try to grab the owl from the fire but it’s long gone, invisible as it was never created. From that day on I have never gotten anything that was stuffed in my

Tired, with a headache, and not in capacity to maintain my eyes open, I remembered next day was Halloween, which was the last thing I remembered before falling sleep. I woke up and saw the watch, it was three o’clock a.m. I listened to a weird sound that came from my closet; it was soft, but I could hear it like a rat scratching the walls. Intrigued about what was happening, I woke up and walked towards the closet. The sound gave me the chills.…

My chickens that I cooked were ready. Then I heard a strange sound. "B-roop", Unfortunately it was my stomach that growled. I was so hungry. I took the chicken out and starting eating like a Tyrannosaurus. The taste and the smell that came from the chicken was incredible. My stone like teeth and my thin layer of tongue chewed on that piece of chicken. You could hear the sounds of chewing like Crag! It was night when I was done eating. " Its night if I don't sleep, then zombies are gonna come in and kill me",I said to myself. I went to bed as soon as I can because I didn't want any zombies to crawl into my property. A bright light shined in my eyes. A light that made me wake up and rub my eyes. "Finally The dream is over", I said to myself. But it wasn't. I was still in the same world, same house, and same spot. I went outside. "Zombies", I screamed. I was so scared that I went in my house opened my chest and took my sword out. A Zombie came in my house and started to tear my house apart. My hand was shaking. Shaking because I never experienced this much fear in my life. I closed my eyes got out of bed and stabbed the Zombie. I saw his green blood coming out of his body, and his eyes staring at me.…

I am upstairs and ready to begin. I start by dusting a little, moving some boxes to the side, when I am suddenly distracted by a particular box. The box had my name written on it, and as I put the duster aside, I walk towards the box. On top of the box it had some old photo albums, and I open the first photo album. I start looking through the photo album and all I see is some old family photos, birthday parties, special events and holiday pictures. Putting that album aside, I open the next photo album. It was pictures of me growing up with close friends and family. It was like for a second, I was going back in time. I almost immediately, forget about the cleaning and pull up a small plastic pinkish stool and sat down.…

“Mom, mom, mom, mom!” I was practically screaming. I already knew what she was going to say. I just sat back on the couch and watched as a tear streamed down my face into my hand. I eventually fell asleep on the couch. I woke up at three in the morning and I could see the sun peaking out with the stars and moon retreating back until another night. I don’t know what came across me but I thought to myself why people are so cruel. I looked outside to see if anyone was out there. I just saw an empty street, just like one of those old ghost towns in old western movies.…

One night Lynse, Sophia, Macy, and I were hanging out. It was around 10 o'clock when we decided to go outside and jump on the trampoline. When we got out there we were having so much fun. We were doing flips and playing games, just doing our normal thing. After awhile all of a sudden, we all heard this noise. Right, next to Lynses house there is woods and cornfields so it made it more creepy. Then we all looked by her shed and we saw this huge shadow. We didn't know what it was but our first instinct was that it was a cat but it wasn't. Again it made this noise and we knew that it was a raccoon. We all went to grab our phones to call her dad but we forgot that we had put them under the trampoline for light since it was so light. We were all nervous to get…

Since I was young I’ve been surrounded by animals. With my first pet being a Hissing Cockroach and my cat being crossbred with an Asian leopard I always thought it was safe to say I was born into a wildlife. I never considered looking after animals as a job but merely as an everyday chore that I enjoyed. As a child who was primarily raised by conservative grandparents the typical words of encouragement were at best, directed towards a job in the medical field, politics, and law which in no way shape or form did I show any sign of interest.…

The spider started walking around the room to see if I was in there. I had the bench, a stool, and a bunch of random objects I found in my moms room and closet. I ran to the closet and locked that door as well, and the top of the closet there was a hole leading up to the attic. I was always too frightened to go up into the attic due to spiders, rats, and other unknown things that could be up there. I knew if I had to go up though. I started climbing onto the shelves of the closet and opened up the cover into the attic. There was cobwebs and I was covered in them. I shut the door to the attic and sat trying not to make any noise at all. I sat in the attic as silent as Anne Frank was while she was in hiding. I sat in a room full of stress and anxiousness. An hour passed and there was no noise. I couldn’t sit in the attic all day, I had to get out eventually. Thirty minutes later, I peeked open the door to see into the closet, nothing was there and it was dead silent. I jumped out of the attic trying to be as quiet as a hummingbird. I tiptoed to peek out of the bathroom. There right in front of me was the monster. I was trapped, there was nothing I could do besides to plead and cry. I felt a big wind that felt like something was being sucked out of me. The monster looked at me almost as he was seeing through me. The baby head laughed and slowly, the whole monster slowly started…

I slept soflty in my room, meanwhile, Auston snored loudly. The sound echoed across the house. The sound nearly woke me up, but I managed to keep my eyes shut. There was an ambient sound that awoke me. My phone blared and I hastily rushed to investigate the noise. My mom was calling me, so I answered, “Hello?” She explained to me that she had to leave for work, and Auston and I were home alone. She also asked if we were on our way to the school bus stop. I checked my phone. It read 8:50, and the school bus departs at 9:00. “Yes we are on our way”, I responded and hung up.…

Ever since I can remember, my one driving force has been for animals. I was the girl who was obsessed with helping a hurt or lost animal, and always curious about the creatures I found in my backyard. I have a devoted passion for animals of all shapes and sizes and plan to spend my future saving them and their habitats. I want to help the people of our world understand that animals are not ours to use and abuse for material use, food, and entertainment. First with saving animas comes saving their habitats. For the way we are advancing in the technological and industrial world is not sustainable; due to human activities, we face a world with no fisheries, coral reefs, or rainforests; declining oxygen concentrations, the loss of honey bees,…
