The Trampoline Short Story
One night Lynse, Sophia, Macy, and I were hanging out. It was around 10 o'clock when we decided to go outside and jump on the trampoline. When we got out there we were having so much fun. We were doing flips and playing games, just doing our normal thing. After awhile all of a sudden, we all heard this noise. Right, next to Lynses house there is woods and cornfields so it made it more creepy. Then we all looked by her shed and we saw this huge shadow. We didn't know what it was but our first instinct was that it was a cat but it wasn't. Again it made this noise and we knew that it was a raccoon. We all went to grab our phones to call her dad but we forgot that we had put them under the trampoline for light since it was so light. We were all nervous to get

We had finally figured out what it was and it was a flashlight we had forgotten under the trampoline. So we knew that we had to grab the flashlight and we all decided to together. Then after we grabbed the flashlight we jumped back on the trampoline and said of 5-4-3-2-1, and we headed for the house. We were all tripping and slipping in the grass cells over and I end up following everybody else end because it had just rained and there was like holes in the ground. I ended up falling on my knees close to her door. Finally, we ran inside the door and slapped it shut. We darted up to her room and slammed her door for some odd reason as if we thought I was inside the house. We stayed u all night talking about the raccoon and how we thought we were going to die. So in the morning, we tiptoed outside to see if it was still there. We looked over but he shed and come to find out it was huge rock! It was so funny! We felt so embarrassed that we had called her dad last night for no reason. Now everytime we go jump out on the trampoline at night, we still get scared. Even though we know it is not a raccoon but a rock, we still get paranoid about
