Personal Narrative: Join Kappa Phi Lambda
When I meet new people, I tend to keep my guards up. I never let anyone knock down the walls I have built around me. I was afraid of betrayal and judgmental. It was difficult for me to open my heart to anyone after High School because I lost my trust in one of my closest friends. Afterwards, I always wanted to be by myself and I did not want to make any new friends. There were numerous people who came into my life and left.
One day, someone told me that I should join Kappa Phi Lambda because sisterhood was one of the three pillars. She told me that every sister would always be there for me when I have my ups and downs.

    I think of myself as a very trusting person. I believe that I have a very strong judge of character when it comes to meeting somebody for the first time. When I first look at somebody I can sort of tell how there personality is or how easy they might be to talk to.
