Festival ISU Reflection One of the organizations I chose to be a part of is called “My Sister’s Keeper”. I was drawn to this particular organization because of the name. I am the youngest of five children and I have two older sisters that I adore. Being my sisters keeper does not just mean my family but also my friends and even people that I do not know that might have come from the same background as me. I felt that this organization would be perfect for me to get involved in because I would get an opportunity to talk to and see other girls my age that share my same interest. I also chose this because ever since my first couple of days on campus I have been hearing nothing but good things about the program. I wanted to take the information I was getting to the next

By going to visit the table I learned that “My Sister’s Keeper” is geared toward minorities such as myself, but they are not limited to minorities which means any woman is welcomed. By signing my name on that sheet I committed a portion of my time to them. I will attend

Cheryl had to deal with incredibly personal letters coming from real people, so It would be impossible to just forget about their problems are revisit them only for the eight hours a day that she worked. Her parents believed that if you don’t beck-and-call on their child’s every whine or cry, it will teach them to grow up to be tough. This is the problem I find most interesting when looking at Jeannette’s childhood.…
