Oliver Road Observation
On 09/05/2017 at 17:35 hours I was patrolling around north Oliver road when I heard Deputy Allen on the radio stating he just saw an accident at 700 block east 119th, Peck, Sumner County KS. I made my way to the call and arrived on scene at 17:51 hours. I observed a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 bearing Kansas 051JZH VIN 2GCEC19T811194265 in the southeast corner of Meridian and 119th. On the southeast side of the same intersection in the ditch I saw a 2008 silver Optima bearing Kansas926JEP VIN- KNAGE124385229094.

I made contact with Christopher Bryce Crow who I identified by Kansas Drivers license and he stated he was chasing after the Chevrolet southbound on Meridian coming towards 119tt avenue due to a disturbance that occurred in Haysville. The Haysville Police Department is working the disturbance due to it occurring in their jurisdiction. While I was speaking to Christopher, Deputy Allen spoke with Leslie Rendon K03-83-9446 and

119th. I made contact with Dale and he reported the following: Dale was mowing his property at 705 E. 119th and observed a pickup and a car driving south of Meridian at "a high rate of speed". He said the car was following the truck at a distance of three car lengths when the truck tried to slow down and turn eastbound causing the truck to lose control and drive through the ditch located on the southeast side of the intersection. The truck continued through the ditch, drove through his chain link fence, and stopped on his property. Dale agreed to write a witness statement and returned it back to me when he finished.

While taking photographs, I noticed the damage to the front of the truck was consistent with the damaged area of the fence. Witness statements were filled out and scanned into case, Photographs on S: Drive.

Deputy Allen issued Leslie Rendon citations for the following: Violation of restrictions, no DL in possession, expired
