These upcoming years are full of various obstacles, changes in life and an immense amount of money coming out of my pocket. Consequently, this daunting task of completing the goals I have today simply cannot be done without planning for life's path: education, occupation, family and obstacles.
The next three years here at Michigan State will ultimately shape what I believe the next seven years after that will consist of. First off, next year I currently have aspirations in being accepted into the nursing program here. However, logically, in case that does not happen due to grades not being as top notch as they expect- an average GPA of 3.9- my plan is to continue on with my kinesiology degree. Age 28 is certainly the earliest I would consider getting married simply due to the fact that if I were to do this any earlier I would have little to no income and be utterly busy either with school or getting accustomed to being a physician assistant. Currently, this is how I see myself in ten years, however, this is subject to change. These alterations could be that I get into nursing school next year, I get into physician school later than expected or I end up changing my mind completely. In the upcoming year I aspire to discover the ultimate correct path I desire to take and what is right for me. Regardless, I am looking forward to my upcoming years here at Michigan State to discover my true passion in life, enhance my knowledge not only in the classroom but also out in the world where I will one day be

I have lots of positive energy. Anyone who knows me says I constantly have positive energy. I always try to see the bright side, and when a friend of mine is sad I try to cheer them up. For example, this year everyone had negative energy going into Decade Day and said we had no chance of winning. I constantly told people to have faith in us, and if we were enthusiastic enough we could win. At first, no one believed me, then after I persistently told people to be positive, people came around. By Decade Day everyone had positive energy rushing through their veins, and sure enough we won Decade Day. I am a positive person, and it rubs off on others.…

Parking for students at South Louisiana Community College has been an issue among the student body, and the idea of parking tower can be a solution to it, but do we really need one? Students are enrolling in community colleges more than four-year colleges. It’s because students find it more easily to take two-year program instead of attending a four your college. This year SLCC have 6,000 students that enrolled. Last year there was 4,219 students that had enrolled at SLCC; 2,151 full time the other half was part time. It’s a strong possibility almost 50% of the students that come full time has already taken all the parking spots. Which leave the students that come part time nowhere to park. Plus, it makes it harder for students to make it on time for class. If students started using a parking tower instead of the existing parkin it would make parking much easier and less stressful for anyone who is a commuter.…
