We can recycle our rubbish
We can be more economical when using natural resources
Because the nature is our home and we
In 1916, protected nature preserves and over 10 national parks were set out by the National Park Service. A century ago, the Migratory Bird Treaty was solidified by the United States Wildlife Service. One hundred years ago, the world’s environmental future seemed bright, advancing and unstoppable. One hundred years later however, the world is facing one of the worst environmental crisis’ known to man, so severe that scientists claim that earth itself is on the brink of a “sixth extinction”. The emission of greenhouse gases, deforestation and other factors are contributing to a warming world: a consequence of human habit presumably out of our hands.…
Unsustainable environmental practices poses increasing threats to the Earth’s water, forests, climate, biodiversity and energy supply. The issue of environmental protection is definitely one of the toughest issues facing the whole human race. There are two different opinions debating whether the involvement of individuals is important to solve the problem.…
The World Wide Fund for Nature or WWF for short has worked at reducing our carbon footprint for over 45 years. Even since 1985, the World Wildlife Fund Network has invested over $1.165 billion in more than 11,000 projects. According to the WWF website, their mission is to conserve nature which they are actively doing in 100 countries with 1.2 million members in the United States and close to 5 million globally. There are several ways that everyone can do their part in supporting WWF. Supporters can donate money, adopt a species, or take action and directly help conserve our environment. I am going to discuss WWF’s cause and importance, how they are working to conserve nature, and how all of you can help support the cause.…
Every day when looking out a window, people see a beautiful earth. The earth is intriguing, but hinges on a delicate balance. Many natural resources keep the grass green and the sky blue. Man has made quite an impression on our world, and has transformed the earth's resources into tools to make life easy. However, mans' manipulation on earth has become detrimental to the health of our planet and the safety of mankind. Through the use and production of resources such as oil and energy, man is gradually poisoning the earth. Pollution has become such a dilemma in society; there is no real control or a feasible solution to society's recklessness. Without complete change, our system will collapse. The earth will eventually retaliate with disaster, or corporate control of our economy will cause hysteria and depression. Evaluation of the consequences and repercussion of worldwide pollution, may give people a better idea of what the future holds.…
Nature has always helped in flourishing the mankind. But this isn't about what nature gives to you, its what you, as a human being give back in return. Are you concerned about nature? Does saving the endangered species and taking necessary actions for those who are on the brink of extinction means something to you? Then join hands with the wildlife organizations to save mother Earth!…
In the 21st century, as a result of global-warming, environmentalism has adopted a more inclusive, planetary view. Human abuse of nature is almost as old as recorded history. The loss of biodiversity is not healthy for mankind and it is mostly the man-made causes which contribute to destruction of nature. But now serious steps towards the preservation of nature must be undertaken to reduce over-exploitation of resources and environment degradation and to prevent the suffering of our future generations.…
The planet that human lived on has been destroying by us for decades particularly after the Industrial Revolution taken place in the late 18th century. Many human beings focus on money and benefits in order to make their living condition better materially. The large amount of pollutants caused by industrial activities harmed the earth seriously. We could blame the industrialists, and we could blame the people who created the demand as well. Every one of us should be responsible for the damage of the Earth. Fortunately, people have started awakening and alerted. People nowadays have been more aware of the environmental protection. Therefore, more ways of preserving our planet should be explored.…
"Ecology or the study of nature and the environment involves us in the conservation of the earth. We are at a point in the history of civilization where awareness of our fragile relationship to nature and the environment is high. We are losing 3,000 acres of rain forest around the world and four species of plants and animals. More plants, insects, birds and animals became extinct in the 20th century than in any era since the Cretaceous catastrophe more than 65 million years ago the led to the extinction of the dinosaurs. The modification of human behavior in an effort to conserve nature is a complex matter. It is not an easy task to preserve the earth but it is essential, for us, too, could become an endangered species." (Gilbert H Muller pg. 608)…
There are well over five thousand endangered species on Earth and humans are the cause of it. Many animals are suffering and several hundred are already extinct. Many of the most beautiful creatures are now evanescent. People are also causing the destruction of the environment, which is home to millions of animals worldwide. Through poaching and obliteration of nature, humans have managed to diminish the very place they call home. There are charities such as the World Wide Fund for Nature with the motive to halt and reverse the annihilation of the environment. The international organization World Wide Fund for Nature works on issues regarding conservation, research, and restoration of the environment.…
Man's careless attitude is the main cause for the destruction of the environment. Discuss. You should write at least 350 words. (60 marks)…
Currently, environmental challenges, such as deforestation and global warming, have confronted ecological scientists, government agencies and the general public. Against this background, some people claim that we are in such a plight that environmental problems can only be addressed by through international collaboration, while I personally believe individual countries and individual people can play an essential role in environmental conservation as well.…
In life we fight and struggle to get the best out of it: well being, good life and health. The most important one is health, but to have health you must have a good place to live, meaning a good environment. How do we get this thing? The answer lies in Nature Protection. Now, Nature protection seems like something very general, but by protecting nature, we make a better environment for ourselves and therefore, we help protect and improve our health, a cause that even the most selfish person on earth can not oppose.…
Our planet is in trouble! Almost every day we seem to hear of yet another problem affecting the environment - and what a list of problems! - pollution, acid rain, climate change, the destruction of rainforests and other wild habitats, the decline and extinction of thousands of species of animals and plants....and so on.…
Nature societies and governments have encouraged people of all races and from all over the world to lend a helping hand in saving Mother Nature. We would only have to cut down on our usage of paper napkins, buy less or perhaps not buy animal fur coats at all. Handbags, pouches, shoes an other accessories made of animal products should be avoided. Yet, people refuse to cooperate.…
Man is an integral part of the environment, yet he is the arch-enemy of it. For centuries man has been thriving on its generosity. But in his quest to make life very simpler and more luxurious,, he has turned a blind eye to the damage caused to the environment. Our greed to get the most out of everything has made us contemptuously neglect the environment, although we all know that our very existence depends on it. A careful analysis of why there are imbalances in the environment will highlight numerous mistakes and aberrations on our parts. After doing so, I reason that there are certain traits in us that have led to the present situation.…
