Mastro's Steak House Research Paper
I entered Mastro’s Steakhouse at approximately 7:00 PM on a Saturday night in New York City. I wore jeans and a nice white button down, with some Chuck Taylor’s. I paced the lobby many times before she walked through the double doors. Once she walked in, it was like time stopped.
She was wearing the same pink dress she wore on our first date. Our first date was in Central Park, the wind was blowing against the glowing, pink dress and her hair was in her face. I turned to look at her, the wind was not moving, and the dress was not glowing anymore as it used to.
We walked to our table, set up in a private room, with a red trumpet hanging on the wall. I was thinking about all the times we have come here. All the times we have acknowledged the vibrant red trumpet. The trumpet is now a washed out red, through the

She was there for a work event, and myself for pleasurable entertainment. I enjoyed going to the symphony after a long day at work. We spotted each other from across the room, she walked over to me and introduced herself. I asked her out and we had our first date the following weekend. On one of our dates, I took her to this same restaurant. We bonded over the red trumpet. The beauty and the sound of it made me smile with joy.

As my family and I stepped d in, we were greeted and welcomed with loud beautiful music, which older families wouldn’t enjoy. I stood head to toe with the overwhelming menu of countless different meal choices. It was nicely dressed in a antique wrap of design around the edges. Each menu choice was separated in categories labeled with elegant and beautiful text, which made me love this place with more passion. I didn’t have one thought of my first choice of a meal for the night. To get saved from the black hole of the Riscky's menu was the generous waiter dressed in a formal manner. She walked up to our smooth wood grain finish table and greeted us with pure sincere gratitude knowing that we didn’t have one clue of what to order. She explained her favorite dish on the menu and I was absolutely certain It was soon to be my favorite as well.…

We sat in a circle as we learned a little about the history of meditation and spiritual journeys in other cultures. Phame then instructed us to lie down and put the blindfolds on. He turned the music up, and everyone was quiet. The music seemed to change as I listened intently.…

The morning went so fast, I was slightly nervous about seeing Josie again since it had been three months since our last encounter. I put on a t-shirt and shorts on then stood in front of the mirror as I splashed my face with water. I looked at the clock and saw it was 11:50 so I grabbed my helmet and jacket as I pushed my motorcycle out the garage. It wasn’t until I got to the street before Subway that I realised my phone had fallen out of my pocket and I had left my wallet at home. I knew then I was going to be late and Josie was going to…

The best part of the day had arrived, dinner. We had a reservation at the pier in which we were going to eat dinner. We looked like a whole bunch of bees ready to attack. The food was there. Right in front of our noses. We could feel the presence of the warmth coming from the food. The smell was just making our mouths water and our tummies rumble. We looked at each other with such eagerness to have some of those explicit desserts in our mouths. There we were, with our food served and ready to attack. I knew that when I was done with this food there was no longer going to be any space for the dessert. Overall the food was amazing and the experience as well.…
