Marion Tax Case 6
You just obtained an internship position in the Marion Tax accounting firm in the small town of Cedarville. This particular company only hires two to three interns during their busy season, which is during tax season and also in the fall as well. The majority of this company’s clients are local businesses and personal tax returns. During your interview you are informed of the job duties, responsibilities, procedures, policies, and the approximate number of hours you will be working each week. These items seem very similar to other small accounting firms, and the people whom you spoke with you seemed to easily connect with. You felt as if this was your match in terms of job preference and where you would like to work full time. As you begin your new job, you are “assigned” to a …show more content…
The result of the decision enables both the interests of the company and my personal goals to be effectively met. It is very admirable to help others whenever possible. 4. The end result of the decision—not the decision itself—is an ethical outcome.
