Have you ever watched “Glee”, “American Idol”, or “The Voice”? If you have, how do you think these shows affect high school choral programs in the U.S.? In my opinion, they do have some affect. High school choral programs have improved tremendously thanks to these shows. I also believe that these shows have made more students interested in being a part of the choir or even theatre. Let’s get more into what the shows are about. Glee is a musical comedy-drama television series that airs on FOX. It touches in the high school glee club New Directions competing on the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with relationships, sexuality and social issues.

    On February 19, 2015, Jared Blum at the Sacramento State University had his first concert of the spring semester featuring plenty of special guests. This concert was presented as partial fulfillment of the requirements that he needs for his Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies.
