One of the most important things that all desires to get from universities is definitely high GPA. It is known as the strongest criteria and main contributor of having high paid and steady jobs. However, the senior vice president of Google, Laszlo Bock stated that GPA is worthless and presented five hiring attributes that leading Google to accept the employees. It was something contradicting my viewpoint which has a deep and mind-changing influence on me.
General cognitive ability, leadership, expertise also humility and ownership are abilities Google looking for. These abilities make me thing thoroughly and widely about education and career creating. So, I got the point that there are situations when the GPA couldn’t handle. Such like catching

College scholarships are often tied up to grades, and students that fail to maintain a good GPA can lose scholarship money and even financial aid. Some states offer free or discounted tuition to students who maintain reasonably high grades. Although financial aid will allow students a grace period of a semester to bring up their grades, a lower grade can trigger financial issues and leave students scrambling for money to cover tuition. The most important effect of getting a bad GPA is the difficulty to get a job fresh-out of college. Nowadays, most employers that recruit recent graduates require a minimum GPA, especially if you are applying for technical openings. Certain employers may even favor recruiting recent graduates from certain programs or schools over others. Indeed, depending on the employer and for these type of candidates, GPA requirements may range anywhere between 2.8 and 3.5 or even higher.
