BEING THE PART OF IT
The earth is a planet that contains not only human beings but also animals. Unfortunately, people do not respect animals well enough since the idea is that human beings are much smarter than animals. However, we are two different kinds that cannot survive without each other. Luckily, there are some people who care about animals and try to make people be a part of wildlife like old times.
A lot of animals die because of human beings almost everyday. Most of those occur on roads and highways. Therefore, scientists research to prevent those losses. One of the most important things that they did is called “Y2Y” which is a short form of Yellowstone to Yukon. Y2Y is

Now, why should we look after animals, surely they are something that we could just use as a luxury? Why do we have to help animals in general? This may sound silly and unusual but actually we are all animals … every single person in this room is an animal, every single person in this world is an animal. All we are, are just adapted animals ( so we have not got any fur, we can permanently stand on two feet, we don’t have a tail or any different features like that, we don’t have noticeable hair everywhere, only where we necessarily think or want in that case. We have hardly any…

According to foreign affairs the want to protect animals is not a new concept to people. Chinese Taoist expressed that compassion for others should not be expressed solely to human beings. An Indian emperor decreed a law that was against the unnecessary mutilation and killing of animals. Buddhists believe that treating all living things with equal compassion as part of an ethical perception. Even though ancient societies had these philosophies, they seem to have been lost to modern society. The San Joaquin kit fox is a great example of how the growth of human population has dramatically impacted the depletion of another species.…

We are using animals in such a horrific way that causes negative changes to the environment. We should always think what this world be if we didn’t have the things we have. We would be miserable and everything would be a competition. There’s lots of people out there working to try to make a difference in this world, but also need people to get involved. It fitted into our course goals and objective because it made me realize how much our world is so corrupt. The only thing we could do is change our ways of thinking, so we can actually live in a peaceful and stable society. Not to think, that we could lose everything in an…

Going back to a time period when the fear of this very event occurring can help to put it all in perspective. Y2K was very real for millions of Americans who feared technology would be distorted or shut-down because of a numerical change in years. People stocked up on supplies with a long shelf life; many took their money from their checking or savings accounts. The panic was real, and this current situation is easily relatable. Although the big banking bailout of Greece was a result of economic failure rather than electric failure, the idea and the fear are still relevant. The Cyprus banking system failure caused people who invested their money in the bank to lose it all. It ultimately “reinforced the importance of a proper…

Determining the rights of non-human animals and deciding how to treat them may not be a choice available to our human society. As an advocate for the rights of animals, Tom Reganʻs three main goals are to abandon the use of animals in any scientific research, discontinue all commercial animal agriculture, and to completely terminate both commercial and sport animal hunting. To support these intentions, Regan argues that every human and non-human animal possesses inherent value, which makes them all more than a physical object or vessel. He then states that possessing inherent value allows every human and non-human to have rights of their own. To further his argument, Regan claims that the any human and non-human retaining rights requires equal treatment and respect from others. To conclude his argument, Regan states that due to these reasons, non-human animals cannot be treated as resources and must be treated by humans as equals. In this paper, I object to Reganʻs third premise, which states that non-human and human animals must be treated as equals and with respect, because our communication barrier with non-human animals restricts us from determining their notion of equal treatment or respect, and that attempting to do so could…

Animals and humans were created to coexist on this earth and therefore should receive fair treatment. Many cannot fathom the idea of initiating legal rights for animals. Some may even perceive it as absurd to dedicate and focus time on non-human animals. The main problem is that humans have advanced significantly, establishing a complex intellect that other species lack. Humans possess many capabilities that are distinct from those of others.…

Animal cruelty is a very severe issue. It happens all over the world, it can happen to any kind of animal, A farm animal, a pet, or even a wildlife animal. People tend to think that animals can be treated in a bad way because they aren’t “humans.” An animal is supposed to be treated as anyone would be treated in a good way and respectfully, they do have feelings just like we all do. Although animals aren’t human beings we all have the right to be treated equally. Animal abusers should be punished in a very serious manner; there should be consequences for mistreating an animal.…

I don’t think we can change the way we treat animals. We should just let them be open and free. All the things that are happening now, will never change. Including hunting, killing, and eating animals. If we keep eating animals, then there won’t be any animals left in the world. Then what will people eat after that? Themselves? People should stop eating animals and save them instead. Otherwise, there will be nothing left.…

Most students enjoy summer vacation, but some educators feel like the summer breaks are too long and students do not retain information as easily when they return in the fall. I believe that we should not have year round school because students and teachers have important responsibilities, personal time, and school and work obligations.…

As seasons change, and the school year progresses, many students lose that “first day of school excitement” (I know that I do!) (parenthesis) that they once felt. So how do we regain that joy that once filled us? The answer is simple, year round school. Having school year round will enable students to expand their knowledge, decrease the time during which kids are idle when they tend to get into the most trouble, and reduce the stress levels of both teachers and students.…

Human kindness is known as an act of concern for other people. Some have shown a little bit of kindness towards someone else here and there, but what about towards animals, do they count as someone or something important to care about? Nowadays humans have become the deciding factor in an animal's life. They are the ones who seem to be making all the decisions for the animals. Having them for the only purpose of serving ourselves seems to be our selfish needs talking. And we are making a choice in letting the cycle of abuse continue for them, while animals are being abused through circuses and farms, for entertainment and food purposes all around the world. When in reality animals have feelings, just like humans do, even if animals may not…

Would a year-round school schedule improve students’ academic performance? There are many debates on whether schools should extend their educational calendar to a full year. While year-round school schedules have their share of benefits, there are also negative outcomes. People often claim the more the better, but what really matters is the quality, not quantity, of education. Year-round schooling should not be organized because students may develop health issues, wouldn’t be prepared for college, and students may miss out on other opportunities during the summer.…

Human beings and animals always had an important relationship. Animals were created to provide us with food and guide us when we had problems. In that story the animals help the man find the food and he has to share it with them in return. They also helped him find his way in the forest. Animals and humans combined together have a great power and they were able to achieve great things. God gave us the power to rule over the world that he has created for us but unfortunately we abused of this power.…
