Why I Want To Be A Physician Assistant
I like to think of people in the medical field as everyday heroes, I’ve always admired them, I enjoy the idea helping those in need, whether it is a major-medical procedure or a simple laugh. As I’ve gotten older I started to take in to consideration that maybe this was what I would like to do for the rest of my life just like all people I saw and I admired when I was younger. Now that I am in the 11th grade, college is soon approaching and I found myself confused as to how I plan on getting to my goal, I knew the college I wanted to attend and what profession I wanted to pursue, but how was I going to get there? I heard of the High School Hospital Internship program during my 10th grade year when I saw the current interns being selected,

Learning these tasks would help me move farther heading in college so that I may live my dream sooner. While in our meeting with the hospitals in the auditorium of Reading High School I head one girl’s experience during her time In the internship, she mentioned she wanted to become a Physician Assistant like me, I was surprised to hear that she was starting her 400 hours needed to attend PA school so that she can get a head start against her class in college. She is doing this by shadowing a Physician assistant that works inside of the hospital, when hearing this it further sold me on why I wanted to endeavor onto this experience in the internship. I am a determined and responsible student who tries my best in everything I do like my classes and extracurricular activities done after school I also want to succeed in his future, I am willing to work had for my goal and I see this internship as a great opportunity to continue in the medical field and gain great knowledge that I could use in college and further on in my career as a Physician’s assistant. So, as I apply to this wonderful opportunity I ask of both hospitals to consider me as an option so that we can both help each other in beneficial ways in exchange for irreplaceable knowledge and
