Why I Want To Attend College
Why do I want to attend College? My answer, a successful future. When I hear or see stories of people who unfortunately passed away it makes me think, why? Why were their lives ripped out of this earth? It makes my heart break when young children pass away. They never got to pursue their dreams and aspirations in life. Fortunately I am able to experience the process in which I am looking at possible colleges, careers and meeting people who got to be where they desired.. My parents have always motivated me to try my hardest and not give up. They always explain how they would have loved to be role models for my siblings and I. Truth be told, of course I look up to them, they are my motivation. My mother graduated as a cosmetologist a year or 2 ago. She was in her late 30’s to early 40’s. It’s never too late right? There are four children, including me, it was hard at first. We were all dependent of my Father. As of today I can say my Mother never gave up on her dreams. My Father was raised by his grandparents who have both unfortunately passed away. He had to get out of school at a very early …show more content…
I know college will prepare me for my future, which is why I want to join a College Possible. I believe college shapes you into the person you really are in every aspect. Almost everyone’s goal is to get a job they enjoy that pays well. With college education I can find a job I will enjoy and get paid for. The more education a person has, the more opportunities they have and the more experience they gain. I want to accomplish goals in life like owning a house! My family and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom, kind of rough with a family of 6. That’s why I want to go to college, to get a job and the respect that comes with the title. I am ready to meet new people, learn, experience and live a life in which I can buy a house of my own and enjoy this journey called
