College is fundamental to me for several reasons. For example, in the article College Is Worth The Cost, by Brooks C. Holtom states that “college graduates earn $2.1 million in a lifetime income compared with $1.2 million for high school graduates.” I will earn about a million more dollars than high school graduates if I am a college graduate. This is important because then I will have enough money to provide for my own kids and wife later on then I would also have enough money to give to my parents and siblings if they need it. Also, the article states, “continuing education after high school is much more important for our generation compared to our parents generation.” Additionally most jobs require more than a high school diploma.
