Immigration is a sensetive subject in America with many opposing opinions. One thing that is for certain is that life for immigrants is not easy. The main reason for immigration from other countries is work. While work itself is difficult to find by immigrants, the work will usually be hard as well. A prime example would be field work such as construction and fruit/ vegestable harvesting. My cousins parents came to America with the same goal as other immigrants wich is to find work. Instead of looking for work my cousins parents created work by opening their own shop. This shop is an example of immigrant culture giving america diversity. The shop has an assortment of mexican candy, mexican breads and meat and other foods. The store also gave other immigrants work like my cousins and her brothers and sisters. That is one of several examples I can give of Immigrants creating jobs for

In truth with the immigrants coming they will open more job opportunities for everyone. The immigrants could open more businesses, allow for expansion in certain businesses to get more jobs. Another myth the anti immigrant groups will try to sell people is immigrants drain America’s social services. The Urban Institute recently took data which showed immigrants pay more of their taxes than they take out of any of the social services. This is due to many reasons like fear of getting any infractions for deportation or because if they do not pay taxes they could have their paychecks withheld.…

Immigration is the process of foreigners settling into another country permanently for the purpose of employment, education, or any other purpose. Immigration has been an issue to United States for decades. The question whether Immigration in US is harmful to the country or not has been debated since ages and will be a subject of debate in future too. We have seen that being immigrant in US has helped many of the immigrants whereas on the other side it has been a leading cause of problems like depression, suicide etc. Being immigrant in US for someone means a lot of difficulties in terms of adapting to the foreign soil. An individual has to start a new life from ground zero regardless of his/her position in the previous countries. There is an only 5% chance that any individual can continue the career from where he/she dropped from the country of origin which brings a lot of depression among the immigrants. For most people, being amongst friends and relatives means a lot and gives happiness and relief to their lives. In this case nothing can be a substitute of the affection of relationships. Being immigrants, they have to stay thousands of miles apart and have to suffer this separation each and every day which leads to loneliness. This can also be a cause of depression for more than 70% immigrants according to a survey report. Big difference in the skills and education also sets the immigrants back from finding the right job at the start. Even though an immigrant has knowledge and skills from their previous homeland but due to the requirement of the US companies that the education and experience be from the US based companies, immigrants are finding harder to match the job with their skills. A lot of foreigners who move to US had first-class jobs in high positions before they were immigrants. When they reach US, it is now a different ball game. Some have hard times to find their match and thus, have to…

When one place has better resources, opportunities, and living conditions than the current place, it makes sense for someone to migrate to the better land. That better land in today’s world is the land of opportunity-- America. This nation is one founded on immigrants. The founding fathers came from Europe with hope and ambition for a better life for them and their children. Today, people immigrate for the same reason. The difference is that immigration is now looked at with a negative eye. Immigrants now are often blamed for the hardships of American citizens. Immigrants receive accusations of stealing the jobs of American citizens. They also face discrimination and are under represented in congress. Immigrants are also blamed for overwhelming democratic support, which deteriorates the accuracy of who the American citizens want for president. Despite all of these negative views on immigrants, immigrants are not actually that bad for America. People who see immigrants as toxic for America fail to remember all of the times they have benefitted America. The benefits Mexican immigrants bring to the US outweigh the harm they may bring.…

Some people may believe that immigration benefits the country. People may think that as there would be more workforces, this is because as long as the job is being completed it doesn’t matter who does it. People who are starting up small businesses would believe immigration benefits our country. This would be thought as the immigration would be working on zero contract, meaning they would be working long hours and be paid a low wage, by doing this the business would expand faster. I think immigrants play an important role in America. They help build and strengthen America's economy. Immigrants help the economy by creating their own jobs. They work in all types of occupations. They are teachers, scientists, engineers, and construction workers. Every immigrant creates 1.2 local jobs for local workers, raises wages for native workers, and attracts native-born workers from elsewhere in the country. Overall, immigrants improve economy by creating their own business or working in difficult construction places. In addition to improving America’s economy, immigrants make the country more open-minded to new possibilities. America have diverse populations with different beliefs and culture. This means that opinions aren't limited…

Immigration is good for the economy. Despite all the fuss about immigrants stealing jobs, immigration actually provides a benefit to the economy, whether those immigrants crossed the border legally or not. Why you ask? Because of what economists call the specialization of labor. As Jonathan Hoenig, proprietor of the Capitalist Pig blog, explains: “The fact that foreigners are eager to pick crops, clean houses, bus tables and produce allows more of us to afford cheaper food and better services, affording us even more wealth to enjoy and invest. It’s not the immigrants, but the taxes, spending and entitlements (most of which immigrants don’t even receive) that have drained the economy dry.”…
