One of the essences of America is that it is the land of second chances. It is the asylum of those who have been hated and isolated from their native cultural order. The travelers were silenced voices, and they emigrated. The Europeans who came over were also individuals in search of a better life because the lives they were leading were ones that could have raised improvement. America has been the collection point for all of these individuals. From this point, the absence of a strictly arranged hierarchical order has been the attractive element to these individuals. Through the time, we still see this as immigration is something that has increased with wildness

Some natives will compete with immigrants for positions because they possess similar skills; others will work alongside immigrants, complementing the immigrants' skills with their…

First, my mom and I have a belief that immigration has a positive effect on the United States economy. Immigration has a positive effect on the economy, and some reasons are because they are risk takers, entrepreneurs, and industry boosters. For my mom immigration also has a positive result as many immigrants become entrepreneurs, and create businesses that create jobs. The economy grows as industries know new immigrants need to start from zero, and need to buy industrial products to…

Americans benefit by having immigrants do needed labor that Americans do not want to do themselves. “It's a well-known fact that many of the jobs immigrants come here to fill are jobs Americans are not taking, when we prevent immigrants from taking those jobs, producers and consumers suffer the consequences” according to Country Monitor. Immigrants provide the labor that allows the United States to have produce as well as products such as fruits, vegetables, and cotton. They work seasonal to provide these items that are necessary for our nation’s survival. They also do other labor such as construction, this builds things like our homes and necessary and unnecessary items that we want to have. “Immigration increases the supply of domestic labor. Immigration is good for the economy. Despite all the fuss about immigrants stealing jobs, immigration actually provides a benefit to the economy, whether those immigrants crossed the border legally or not. Why you ask? Because of what economists call the specialization of labor. As Jonathan Hoenig, proprietor of the Capitalist Pig blog, explains: “The fact that foreigners are eager to pick crops, clean houses, bus tables and produce allows more of us to afford cheaper food and better services, affording us even more wealth to enjoy and invest. It’s not the immigrants, but the taxes, spending and entitlements (most of which immigrants don’t even receive) that have drained the economy dry.”…
