Bombats generally tend to be most active when the sun is highest in the sky, or, noon. There may be a few variables that have to do with that reason. These reasons include, temperature, food availabilty and predator presence. There are more factors possible as to why Bombats stick to this cycle; however, I feel these three are the most compelling reasons. Bombats may have their highest activity around noon because it is when the sun is most present, giving them warmer tempretures.
