Why Athletes Be Paid
Envision a person who capers and plays games for a livelihood, now visualize that they become worth millions of dollars extra than the standard person will ever be. Moreover, everyone puts credence in the people who say that, all people believe that a guy who catapults around a ball all day is, and always will be, superior to themselves. All over the world, mainly in America, athletes are paid millions of dollars more than the median individual, and all for the fact of our societal calibers. Accordingly, numerous people in this homeland will not care if people save sentient creations, they only care about people if they can intercept a ball, or even run at supersonic speeds. That is why athletes all over the United States of America, the land of the unobstructed, are being paid astronomical amounts of money for diminutive work.

This happens for the fact that, again, the people in this country tend to care about having fun rather than anything else. Another reason as to why the amount of money that athletes receive is ludicrous is that, “...retired athletes can go on to have lucrative jobs,” (Edelman 24). Being involved in lucrative jobs means always making tons of money, and more than almost everyone else. “...there are plenty of people who have difficult and dangerous jobs, and no one is handing them exorbitant amounts of money,” (Edelman 24). As to why people do not pay people who work strenuously becomes lost upon the vast majority of people, but I believe that it is for the fact that no one actually cares about them. All in all, the fact that people who gallop around all day, and still acquire millions of dollars, is a truly disturbing truth that burdens us
