For this assignment, I chose the song “Only in America” by Brooks & Dunn. This song was written about all the freedom we as Americans have.
At the beginning of the song, the lyrics describe a bus driver who is reflecting on the kids’ futures, or more like using his imagination to wonder what each one is going to be. He believes that they may acquire the “American dream.”
