THE ULTIMATE GIFT
The film touches on many points that , in my opinion , are vital for us to lead a fulfilling life , based on the effort and thanks for all the goods that we have. I like how it makes you see that the gift of work for example, helps us to value things , realizing what it actually costs , and get to have some power and learn to despise not waste anything, small or "insignificant " it is for us, we can get through honest work . I can also see that when you work for something and not given as something you already have, the joy of getting that thing for which we have worked . Notably, the gift of friends , laughter , gratitude and the dreams are very connected , it looks like each of these gifts is complemented by others already mentioned, in the way that when you get any of the gifts we have implemented any of the other , giving that to get what we want, in the end is a full and happy life , we must keep a correct process by which we learn to value things , to plan what you want to do , to give without expecting anything in return , enjoy and laugh when need be and suffer but with the conviction that this obstacle by which we are going through at the moment is just a step that leads us to be better people than we do in the past . Humans are in a process of continuous improvement , but adopting and implementing most of these gifts that life has for us can live the life you 've always dreamed of, have the dearest friends , we give without expecting a reward and most importantly , thank and appreciate anything that is the result of our work or that of others , bringing a reward for good deeds that we played during the working

David Steindl-Rast gave an interesting TED talk on how gratefulness leads to happiness. Something that really stuck out to me was people who have experienced misfortunes are still able to be happy because they are grateful. Many people lead depressed lives because they dwell on their misfortunes. I find this quite sad, especially because I really want to spread happiness. Another part that fascinated me was when Steindl explained that within every new moment we are given a new opportunity, or a gift. He also stated that most people need to stop and see the opportunity in order to be grateful. This made me realize that I need to slow down more often and really take in account how lucky I am. There was an easy three step process he explained…

    Explication: the gift

This poem is written in free verse, separated into four stanzas each with a varying number of lines and syllables. There is no precise rhyming pattern, but there is a pattern within the usage of words. The speaker uses bodily words such as palm, hands, face, and head at the ends of lines in the second stanza when describing, in the literal form, when the speaker is talking about the experience he went through getting the metal sliver pulled from his palm. The speaker repeats those words when he is describing performing the same process on his wife; remaining just as calm and tender as his father was with him. This poem follows a sequence of events, almost like a timeline. This is true for the literal reading as well as the metaphorical reading of the poem. The “gift” that is passed down from the speaker’s father to him, and then utilized on his wife, is a life lesson. At the age of seven, the speaker takes mental notes of his father and the actions that he made, and uses them when he is about 20 years older. This poem acts as the path the speaker had to take to get where he is today.…

The reason I have chosen this film text it because its purpose expresses moral lessons though animated film. An example of this is; when flick learns that he doesn’t have to be like everyone else in the colony and becomes an independent ant, who then goes in search for his inner-self. This has and does relate to me through my youth as it has always has taught me even if I’m not like everyone else or like or do the same things, that’s okay and that no matter what, I can still be noticed, liked and accepted in society despite how different I may be and stamp a big mark in society if I ever wanted to.…

I believe that each of us have unique gifts to offer the world. By giving and sharing we are bringing joy and happiness to ourselves and others. David Viscott said, “The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The meaning of life is giving your gift away”. I believe that by sharing our gifts we are embracing the true purpose of life. By loving, sharing and understanding our needs we are filling our hearts with a joy. My gifts to the world are my caring for others and my dedication to my family and work, but what I need is to make sure that I have time to spend on my hobby and find time to be just with myself.…

The touch interface is superbly smooth and makes access of the applications and music very easy. The sound quality of the device is awesome and takes the listener away from the world. It has become my indispensable partner in gym, travelling, walks, and at times even in the class!!!! Headphones on, and off I go. 8 GB of memory offers me to have endless music access without having to worry about the memory shortage. The games and other applications in the device help in passing the time while travelling and my boredom disappears once I get engrossed in the wide array of games in the gadget. The Wi-Fi helps me access internet on the go and helps me get connected to the world, it has Facebook, Twitter, G talk, everything.
