The First Journey into heart of Nature
When I was perusing my under graduate degree, my relatives and elders would say that I have lot more life ahead with great and exciting experiences. But being so young I have an adventurous experience. Even my parents do not know that I have grown up so fast that I dared to visit a wild and adventurous place for hiking.
My parents never restricted me for my wishes but they would definitely say no to visit such a place. Travelling may not be a great adventurous deal for most of the people around me. But being so young to attempt the trip was adventurous and quite exciting for me at that time. Before that trip, I used to be a calm and homely person. My Homely nature would be one of the reason for my parents to restrict me not to visit such place if I have asked them permission. I did have friends to hangout for movies, restaurants and sometimes hookah spots, pubs and bars. I used to be so very satisfied spending time with friends at home for even months. I always loved to stay in doors and have fun with friends and relatives. But all of a sudden, my priorities have changed after the trip. I used to love watching WWE, National Geographic or cricket on TV and I never thought there would be so much difference in enjoying nature directly instead of television. I felt that I have ignored nature’s beauty and its purpose.
The situation changed to other side when my best friend Abhigna who love to travel round all time attacked me in the restroom carrying out his several crazy trip plans. I cannot even describe how he convinced me to join in the plan, all I can say is that we started to our trip in next couple of days.
This was the very first time being in nature, between mountains and trees. I looked all round twice in all possible directions to make myself believe that I am out of home. Even though the weather was not comfortable most time we hiked, I enjoyed the view which was foggy but visible enough. I felt like I was a

There I am sitting in my canoe, I close my eyes and just listen. I listen to the trees swaying in the breeze, the raindrops pitter-patting on my coat, the movement of the paddle as it dips into the water. I picture the beautiful autumn foliage that surrounds me as leaves gently fall from the tree onto the surface of the water and make a print on the water, even if it is only there for a second. As English writer William Hazlitt once said “We do not see nature with our eyes, but with our understandings and our hearts.” This is how I felt out on the river during our trip, I felt like I could really understand and appreciate the beauty and serene peace of being one with nature. I also felt like I could appreciate the care that it takes to keep…

“A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.” –Oliver Wendell Holmes. One day, I was walking around campus with my friend Faith when both of us stumbled upon a sign in the elevator that mentioned a trip to Europe to study our favorite parts of history. From that minute and on both of us knew we had to look into this one of a kind trip. A few days later we attended the course meeting for the trip both of us looked at each other, nodding our heads in excitement. This was when we finally and completely decided this trip would be for us and we would do everything in our power to go. I was hoping this adventure would show me the people, places, and things that I had heard about in books but also more. I…

Individual businesses must work in partnership with other organisations in order to be successful. Tourism is a very competitive and complex sector and many companies develop links with other businesses as a way of maximising profits. If for example Thomas cook didn’t work with other hotels, insurance companies, company picks up on arrival, Thomas cook wouldn’t make any profits, as customers wouldn’t want to book a holiday with a company who don’t take out insurance, which if an accident happened they would have thousands to pay with no compensation. Also if customers were to book with a company who didn’t book with certain hotels, you could end up anywhere without any information about it. Whereas if Thomas cook have interrelationships with hotels they are more likely to be safer and nicer hotels, meaning customers trust Thomas cook knowing the hotel is good one. This increases profit due to more repeat purchases.…

The one event that majorly impacted my life was the first mission trip I went on with my school, Indian Rocks Christian School. Every May the school sends teams of students and teachers to different places around the world, from right nearby in Florida to the other side of the world in Thailand. My ninth grade year I got the chance to travel to and spend a week working in Guatemala, with children, adults, and some time working construction, and it changed my view on life greatly. I met so many amazing people, and wonderful children, but I also saw another side of how people live and it opened my eyes. While in Guatemala, I was in a small group who were given the opportunity to visit families who the church helped. Their houses were barely held…

One of the main purposes of travel is to gain experiences that allow us to grow and develop as individuals and it is important that people travel the way that bests suits them at a particular time. For example, I like to go on adventure holidays and this invariably includes a small group and expert guide, and I frequently participate in writing retreats around the world with like-minded people. However for me, the real joy of travelling has always been to take off on my own and just 'see' what comes along the way. Of course this can sometimes be fraught with frustrations, difficulties and even dangers.…
