Chocolate Hills Tour (with Panglao extras)
Looking for a unique way to spend the Good friday, I decided to join my friend Lee, his special friend Monica, Monica’s mother and sister in an amazing adventure in the world famous Chocolate Hills and other places along Bohol’s Tourism highway.
Our destinations (in Bohol, Philippines): * Chocolate Hills in Carmen
* Butterfly Garden in Bilar-The Bohol Butterfly Conservation Center or the Butterfly Garden is home to hundreds of butterfly species. * Loboc River and Tarsier in Loboc- Loboc is known for its floating restaurants along the scenic and winding Loboc River. Tourists also come to see the tarsier, a small nocturnal animal with large eyes. It is one of the world's smallest primates. Unfortunately, the tarsiers here are kept in an inadequate cage, and better be observed in the Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella. * Prony, the Python in Alburquerque- Largest Python in the Philippines, Prony ... in Albur (also known as Albuquerque) at approximately 5 meters and 5 kilograms back then. * Blood Compact Site in Bool, Tagbilaran City- This Blood Compact Site at Barangay Bool, Tagbilaran City is in memory of this historic agreement between native Filipinos and the Spaniards.
Other Destinations * Dauis Church- An important site for the spiritual uplifting of the townspeople, this church is located at the heart of the municipality of Dauis in the island of Panglao. Although the church was built during the Spanish regime, it possesses semi-modern features especially on its façade. The church is flanked with a rotunda, barangay hall and a mini-park—one common characteristic of a Spanish town layout. * Hinagdanan Cave in Panglao- Hinagdanan Cave is a cave found in Panglao Island which is part of the Government Jurisdiction of Bohol in the Philippines. It is lighted naturally by the Sun through a couple of openings in one location and the entrance. It has a lagoon about 10-12 meters deep and it is now used
