Casagwa Ruins
The Cagsawa Ruins (also spelled as Kagsawa or Cagsaua) are the remnants of an 18th century Franciscan church, the Cagsawa church, built in 1724 and destroyed by the 1814 eruption of the Mayon Volcano. They are located inBarangay Busay, Cagsawa, in the municipality of Daraga, Albay, Philippines.
Daraga Church
Daraga Church - located in my hometown, Daraga Albay, the Philippines. An 18th century Baroque church built on top of a hill (overlooking the magnificent Mayon Volcano). This church was supposedly built by the women (thus the name "Daraga" which means Lady/Single Woman) when the men fled from forced labor during the Spanish era.
Ligñon Hill
The 156-meter high Ligñon (also spelled Lingñon, pronounced as /li-NYON/) Hill has always been one of Legazpi’s most famous landmarks. For years, Ligñon Hill is known only for the PHIVOLCS observatory located in its flanks and an old lighthouse on its summit. Today, it has become one of the city’s prime destinations for sightseers, adventurers and even fitness buffs.
Japanese Tunnel
Japanese Tunnel (Albay) formerly used by the Japanese Imperial Army. It was a perfect site to put up an arsenal, because of its 40 meters long L-shaped and 7 feet deep ground features that the Japanese took advantage as a defensive line over the incoming Americans and Filipinoforces.

The Embarcadero, one of the most anticipated developments in the city of Legazpi, “soft” opened last July 18, 2009 with two locators opening its doors to the public. The Embarcadero is a major waterfront development located at the harbor area of Legazpi City adjacent to the alluring Kapuntukan Hill.
