Thinking that maybe there was a problem, Roy and Johnny pulled their gear back out and turned back toward the house in case they were needed after all. In the chaos that followed the group rushed toward the pool house to check on the wife of the man who’d initially sent the two paramedics packing. The group pushed ahead of the two men who could offer the most help if the woman had in fact ingested some pills. The family pushed each other and the two men as they all herded around the edge of the pool. Roy had not so graciously been shoved to the left and lost his footing on the slippery side of the pool. He unceremoniously took a splash along with the drug box. Johnny had eventually made it into the fray only to find out the lady had taken a bottle of aspirin and agreed to seek advice from her personal physician. Johnny fished the drug box from the water and offered his hand to his partner, but Roy hadn’t wanted or needed his help. In a normal situation this would be a call that would be joked about and a great deal of teasing would have followed. After the past week of unrest between the two friends, the situation only seemed to add fuel to the already smoldering…

One hand of the broken clock stops at 12.00 while the dust buries the small one. I can hear the weeping and groaning come from everywhere while the smoke masks all the place. Many eyes capture a deeply gashed woman amid the wreckage stretches her hard to reach her daughter's hand, but she cannot. Only her eyes try to hug the girl, and wake her up. The little girl stained with red and her long dark hair closed her eyes. A Few minutes before, she was being with her white dress and holding a flowering Palm. Meanwhile, many people were singing the beautiful hymns and celebrating the Palm Sunday. "Again, do you believe what happened in the church? A man fit with an explosive vest donates himself, leaving 43 killed and hundreds wounded". It was the breaking news of another sad day. As we used to hear this news…

Roy finds optimism in a make-believe childhood encompassing high culture, elegance, music, joy and a lovely mother while the reality as revealed by Cherry is that “he’s an orphan” who “spent most of his early life in orphanages and being farmed to foster parents” (p. 76). Roy refers to this falsehood in an attempt to forget and deny the truth about his childhood and also attempts to block out the reality of the asylum, hoping that Cosi Fan Tutte would be “like [his] childhood” (p. 61), “a world as far removed from [the] depressing asylum as possible” (p. 63). Throughout the play, Roy also rejects the reality of the effects of his…

In order for the child to continue this good behavior of sleeping in time, I will have to use positive reinforcements. Some positive reinforcements that I could use is presenting the child with gifts, starting with a small bar of chocolate then in time some money. Another positive reinforcement is allowing the child to sleepover at another friend’s house, this would also be a negative reinforcement me since I don’t have to take care of anyone for that particular day. If this does not continue and the child is disobeying and not following the rules of bedtime, I will first use negative punishment. One…
