The Wedding Ceremony
Wedding Ceremony Options
Welcome:
Option 1: We have come here today to celebrate a special love. (name) and (name) have chosen you, those special and important to them, to witness and celebrate this love as they come together as husband and wife.
Option 2: We are gathered here, not to witness the beginning of what will be, but rather what already is. We celebrate with (name) & (name) the wondrous and joyful occurrence that has already taken place in their lives, and the commitment they make today.
Option 3: We are gathered here today to encourage, celebrate, and support the covenant these two people are going to make and to share in the joy that (name) & (name) experience as they pledge their love and commitment to each other.

Introduction/Definition of Commitment:
Option 1: Marriage is the essence of relationships. It challenges us to be of one accord without abandoning the truth of our individuality. It challenges us to recognize ourselves in one another. It is a great adventure into the depths of caring, affection, trust, and understanding. As with all relationships, marriage is an endless presentation of choices about how we want to be with one another. Each choice presents an opportunity for more unity. Choose into that unity every chance you get.
Option 2: You are making a mutual commitment to love each other in an atmosphere of care, consideration, and respect. You are partners in life, working together to bring out the best in each other, and for each other, and striving to be the most you can. This ceremony marks the moment when this relationship you have been creating gains a new, richer meaning.
Option 3: Your shared experiences have brought you together and forged this bond of love. From this day onward you will come closer together than ever before. May you always be able to talk things over, to confide in each other, to laugh with each other, and to enjoy life together. May your marriage be a place in which you share your joys
