I agree with this approach because it helps the child learn how to be independent from a young age and not have to rely on their mother each time they need to eat. I also like that the atmosphere of “dinner” is open and there is room for each and every person to talk at the table. This approach allows the young children to develop skills that teach them to be independent.
I think that one of the most important things to teach a young child is how to be independent and advocate for themselves. If this is not taught at a young age children tend to become very

The United States of America has about 195 countries and 6,500 spoken languages to interpret, understand, and communicate. Being aware of foreign cultures and affairs is imperative to upholding the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) mission to, “…to ensure a homeland that is safe, secure, and resilient against terrorism and other hazards.” My participation in Second Language Learning and Technology research could aid in improving the way DHS collects domestic and foreign intelligence and decrease the duration of time it takes employees to learn new languages.…

This child entered the world barking orders. I've always called her a little chihuahua. She fears nothing. I was concerned about that, at first and later realized you're not truly living if it is in fear. I wanted to teach her so much, but over the years she has taught me more than I expected. My child is smart and I always thought I was brilliant, but had no idea until I sat and listened to my high school child explain and debate her stances on political views with me. We both are conservatives and I don't mind her having an alternate view and I enjoy listening to her speak about it. I was just happy to see she had valid points about her claims. She is a debater and I was one of the best at that age. Devon has given me a run for my money and…

The first and biggest problem in today’s children is that they are getting spoiled beyond belief. When kids are spoiled the way they are being spoiled today it sets them up to fail in their future lives. Brenda Scottsdale a licensed psychologist and author for livestrong.com states, “Spoiling your children can be harmful to them both socially and developmentally. Since children who are spoiled often do not have to learn to solve their own problems, they can lack the life skills necessary to successfully negotiate the demands of adulthood.” When it comes time for these children to manage their money and make financial decisions in their own life they will struggle and rely on their parents to bail them out as they have done repeatedly in the past. In their adult years, lacking these skills makes these people lazy, angry, and unhappy with themselves. The second root cause in poorly acting children today is being neglected or lacking a positive role model at home. According to Hannah Richardson, a BBC education reporter, “When teachers were asked about the root cause of poor behaviour, three quarters blamed a lack of positive role models at home.” When children don’t have a structured upbringing with discipline in place, they struggle to make the right decisions in life that would keep them out of trouble. There was a study that suggested forty-two percent of students causing trouble today have been…
