The Importance Of Guns In The United States
The people of america should be able to own a gun if they want. If the government denies them that right that is violating a person's right and the second amendment. Guns don't commit crimes people do so why take away everyone's privilege when you could sell guns to the people that can prove their self that they are okay to handle a gun.
Anyone who wants to defend their self and wants a gun should be able to have a gun because when they're right to bear arms is taken away people start to lose their sense of safety.
It is not right for the government to take the guns. The government should not be allowed to take our gun because that is how some people get there food. If the government denies our rights for gun the the could be killing people

I think that American citizen should not be able to own a firearm because many people kill innocent people all the time. Many people kill for violent reason and for no reason. There is a lot of heart aches from all the killing and massacres that people do. The Brady Campaign to prevent gun violence reports that an average of 268 people are shot every day in America. That's 97,820 per year. Maybe, but people with guns kill many, many more people than they would if they didn't have guns, and guns are designed to kill as many people as possible. We don't know if the murderers are suffering from a suicidal depression, but many mass shooters in the past were. And guess what? People suffer from suicidal depression everywhere in the world. People get angry and upset everywhere in the world. The reason is that people in those places who have these impulses have an easy way to access lethal weapons and unlimited ammunition. But if you want to kill large numbers of people and you happen to be an American, you'll find it easy to do.…

Many Americans believe that Gun-Control Laws should be enforced, because “Individuals do not need guns for protection; it is the role of local and federal government to protect the people through law enforcement agencies and the military.” (http://www.StudentNewsDaily.com) All Individuals deserve the right to carry a gun with them at all times, to use for protection. According to the Second Amendment in the Constitution, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” (https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/second_amendment) Obtaining a gun, gives one the sense of feeling safe and protected given any situation. No one knows when they may be “attacked” or in danger, and the protection they need from the government may not always be there to protect them. Every American must learn self-defense and use it when needed, they shouldn’t have to rely and anyone but themselves.…

Bang. Thump. Bullets flew through the air and American soldiers hit the ground. Death was all around them. Why were these Americans fighting? What are they dying for? And who is going to remember them? These Americans soldiers weren't fighting a lost cause. They were fighting for freedom, they were fighting so the American people can sleep another sound night, and they were fighting to secure the nation. These men and women on the battlefield were dying for independence, the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And as an American people, yes, we are going to remember them. We will honor them until the very end, never ceasing.…

Should the National Government take away gun rights? One, should it be the States rights? If the National Government took away everyone's guns no one could protect themselves. But if citizens are armed they could protect their family, friends and themselves. If everyone is armed they would be safe but also dangerous. It's a right to bear arms but it's the common good that's not everyone is armed, that's where background checks come in. When someone buys a gun they have to be checked for any criminal history.…

So, I believe that Americans should be able to own guns and not have their 2nd amendment infringed upon because the 2nd amendment says “ The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” This implies that the people of the U.S can have weapons to defend themselves and no further. Now obviously there is flaws to this as there is criminals that use weapons for horrible acts, but we have people that own guns to protect themselves from the criminals in which case a weapon is used in self defence and not to commit an act of crime. As well as people who use them to protect themselves it is also not meant to kill the gun for example is something that doesn’t kill the user of the…

    Right to Bear Arms.

Bearing arms gives people an easier solution to wound or kill someone. Allowing ordinary citizens to bear arms whether for self-defense or target training should not be allowed as these weapons are frequently used for the wrong reason; for example, using the weapon with the intention to wound or kill someone. Many countries that allow citizens to have the right to bear arms contain many reports on deaths from gunpoint. In USA alone, on average 10,000 people die a year due to firearms, whether the deaths are murder, from self-defense or accidents. Ordinary citizens should not be given the right to bear firearms as it provides an easier way to kill or wound someone, rather than actually help the people.…

Right here in Illinois there is a case about the right to bear arms. State law barred "anybody of men, other than the organized militia of the state and the troops of the United States, from associating as a military company and drilling with arms in any city or town of the state. They stated in the Presser V. Illinois “A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." I think that some people shouldn’t have the right to bear arms. Because if they are not in the right state of mind you could pop off on anybody. Why not try and stop the people from getting guns illegally. I would never actually think that some people would get the right to carry and then actually kill people without somebody threatening them. People that are actually getting this bear to carry right are felons and they were convicted for having a weapon and using it for bad reasons. As a country we can’t let this law be passed because just like somethings we pass they won’t have rules for the person but a…

There is a big controversy about whether or not to have control over guns. One side of the controversy is that no citizen is allowed to have a gun in the house hold, only allowing the Army, Cops, and anyone with that power over the country. You also have the other side that the citizens are on, where many of the citizens use firearms for hunting, safety, and many other things. How could we take away firearms when so many people have and use them, “In the United States every 100 people 88.8% have firearms.” (ProCon.org “Gun Control ProCon.org”,1) The main reason the government is thinking to have gun control, is to decrease the lives that are getting taken away by these powerful tools that we use to have fun. Many people…

The issue is whether or not it is unconstitutional to have gun control in the United States. I think we shouldn't have gun control but support gun rights. Gun control would be against the common good. If the government took away the guns from citizens we would have no way of protecting ourselves. People wishing to use guns to harm people could smuggle them in from other countries and lie about having them. Therefore if a citizen had a gun, that citizen could hypothetically stop the other person from harming others.…

Gun Control is a huge issue in the United States. It was declared in our constitution in the 2nd amendment that we have the right to bear arms. Every person is entitled through the second amendment to legally own and use fire arms. There are many issues that have come up with gun control: conceal and carry, semi-automatic weapons, and gang violence. Many people in this beautiful country we call the United States, feel like they need to take away the right to bear arms. To me I believe this is wrong. I believe you should be able to legally own and operate a weapon in a safe and secure manner. Anyone that is a law abiding citizen should be able to own a firearm.…

    Why Guns Should Be Banned

    • 667 Words

Why do people keep guns? These days many people own and carry guns with them in the name of security and protection. Many people own guns such as rifles and shotguns for the sport of hunting. The government allows people to own and carry guns by having a background check and getting a permit, but there are many private gun sellers who sell guns without any background checks and giving permits. The possession of guns should be strictly banned because they are the sign of violence, they have increased the rates murders and insecurity, and even many children have killed other children.…

“By restricting gun ownership only to law enforcement officers and the military, the government violates individuals’ rights to possess firearms that they might need to defend their basic freedoms.” When the Founding Fathers wrote the Bill of Rights they knew that giving the government our guns would be the equivalent of tearing the constitution in half. Guns are the only things that protect our rights. It’s what gives the people power, and it’s also what protects people.…

    Gun Control Persuasive

I believe that guns should not be banned in the US. “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” I am sure most of us have heard this saying at some point in our lives. Surely, it is a statement of the obvious, but the logic behind it rings true. It may seem rational to ban guns entirely to prevent people from killing, but it is not the guns themselves that are the problem. That is just a simple solution to a complex problem. The criminals who kill others are willing to break the law and risk going to prison for the rest of their lives to murder, yet they are expected to follow firearm laws? If a nationwide gun ban is enacted, criminals will not suddenly follow the law and reject the thought of buying a firearm on the black market. Banning all guns in the United States would be irrational because it would not lower crime or prevent firearm-related murders.…
