The Importance Of Diversity And Stereotypes
I should make sure that resources should be available and inclusive to all learners, while allowing them to get new skills and ideas. When using or creating resources, I make sure they encourage fairness of opportunity, reflect diversity and challenge and stereotypes. For example when I prepare text and pictures in handouts (from my organisation’s website) I choose all aspects of culture. Also I select resources to appropriate in terms of levels, quality, quantity, and content as well as be relevant to the subject. In addition I make sure the learning expected, handouts and presentations checked for spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence construction errors. I always print resources from my organisation’s website, so there will be my organisation details on any documents to explain where they originated.
