Prior to taking the Jung Typology test someone might not understand how they view the world around them or what their driving force is. A failure to understand one’s temperament could result in being employed in a job that is not seen as satisfying or generally a miscommunication with employees and employers. Personally, I would implore anyone who stumbles upon this paper to take a few minutes out of their day and take the Jung Typology Test not only does this quiz help find one’s passion but actually mirrors most people’s strengths accurately. Upon reading this paper the reader will not only have a greater understanding of my personality but jobs that most people who perceive the world the way I do would excel in as well. Four temperaments…

I am always positive, and happy if I am at work I never have a dull attitude I do what I have to do and I enjoy what I do, I do not do anything that I do not think I will enjoy. I do all I have to, to the best of my ability’s; never half hearted. Customers love me because I love to get to know new people, working in a phone job it is important to get to know the customer so you can provide them with a phone that will suite them best. I’m always smiling, do not hold grudges and can never be angry for long time. I think this would make me a good entrepreneur because whatever I am hit with I never dwell on it I get up and move on…
* Did your personality spectrum profile surprise you? Why or why not? I was and was not surprised on what the results of my personality spectrum were, I have always been aware that I’m an organizer. What surprise me is that organizer is my strongest personality; I would have thought that adventurer would have been my strongest. But after reading the description of the organizer is, it all makes sense and I see why it is my strongest personality. Although adventurer is my second strongest personality, I get a relief to know that adventurer was not too away from being my strongest personality.…
For example in my own personality and behavioral style I do enjoy interacting with various people whether it be socially or professionally. Being extroverted I find being around people to be energizing and uplifting. I tend to find myself easily bored when not stimulated by conversation or social activity. When I speak, I tend to formulate my ideas as I'm vocalizing them. I am not always quite sure of my ideas until I hear myself vocalizing them. I also enjoy debating and playing devils advocate in a sense to make people think and interact with me as well. I will get into a healthy debate with a friend or colleague just for the social and verbal interaction. Innovative by nature, I tend to be ahead of times when it comes to personal styles, ideas, and trends. I'm always looking for a new style, technology, or idea to formulate into a tangible project. I often find myself coming up with ways to improve the technology I personally own by implementing new software and/or hardware. Also at times I do find myself neglecting projects that should be completed due to my constant over thinking the project as a whole.…
Very rarely so we take stock in our own well-being in the workplace and even less time is spent on determining if our personalities fit within the expected model of behavior that is expected at the organization for which we are part of. Occasionally it is good to sit back and look at oneself and determine what your personality traits are and if they coincide with your goals. According to Wan Ismail and Awadh (2011), personality can be a determining factor in one’s job performance. Further research has shown that personality differentiates one person from another (Beer & Brooks, 2011) and that personality traits remain steady and stable through ones work life (Myers, 1998). Being able to understand your own personality traits is important to unlocking your own job satisfaction needs and leadership and management abilities.…
“Personality is a unique combination of emotional, though, and behavioral patters the affect how a person reacts to situations and interacts with other” (p.1). The Five-Factor Model of Personality include extraversion, conscientiousness, emotional stability, agreeableness and openness to experience; this model help predict behavior in different type of circumstances. Highly extraverted people can be described as talkative, social, and assertive. Conscientious individuals are considered responsible, persistent, dependable, detail-oriented, achievement-oriented, and orderly. Emotionally stable are secure, unworried and calm. Agreeable individuals are trusting, good-natured and cooperative. People who are open to experience are imaginative, intellectual, artistic, and sensitive. The Big Five Model predicts the correct job performance in many…
I also get easily overwhelmed by schoolwork during the week but I am relaxed on weekends and my days off. I’m very open to trying new things and am creative when it comes to certain stuff that I am enthusiastic about. My behaviors, attitudes, feelings, and ways of thinking are unique in my own way…
The career interest profiler shows I am mostly investigative, with a score of 30. Considering my background, I strongly agree with the results. Investigative interest deals with thinking rather than working with or leading people. Investigative people tend to look for facts, and try to figure out problems. I am the type of person who likes to work alone, because it is the most efficient for me. Working alone allows me to think more comfortably, rather than discussing a solution with everyone.…
My personality type is very outgoing and optimistic. I am always eager to learn new things and experiment when it comes to different learning techniques. I know that with over the course of years when going to school it has helped me become successful in my courses. The strength of my personality is great because I will not stop going over a lesson until I grasp the full concept. If there is something that I am not understanding I will keep trying until I full understand the course work that needs to be done.…
There are many characteristics that could be used to describe me. I am very outgoing, committed, action-oriented, and organized, among many other things. Sadly not all of my traits are considered positive; I can be considered high strung, stress driven, controlling, and having a strong desire to always need to impress. All of my positives are very helpful in anything that involves people, especially planning and organizing events which is something I have done many times in high school and also college. With all of these traits in mind, I agree with the psychodynamic perspective, which is a personality that is primarily unconscious (King, 2013, pg.362), I believe that our characteristics are created by our reaction to society and then certain traits stick and become a part of us without even realizing it. One trait that I significantly gained awareness to and utilized to my full advantage in my senior year of high school and still use is being action-oriented. I made connections to people easily and in team-based situations I was the one that made sure people stayed focused, while still making sure that everyone felt their opinions were still being heard. I often just assumed responsibility, and made sure all issues came to closure in a positive way, this was something that I believe that I just grew up learning and knowing because I am the oldest of seven children.…
Some people consider their careers to be an adventure. Who would have thought that someone's job would be an adventure. Police risk their lives on a daily basis, not to say that you need to risk your life to be adventurous. Lawyers, with the thrill of winning their case, or even the fear of losing their case, their career is adventurous. Fireman running through a blazing building to make sure everyone is evacuated. Paramedics arriving on the scene of an automobile accident or shooting, that's excitement. Doctors who have people's lives in their hands daily. All of these careers are different, but have one thing in common ¦adventure and excitement.…
Many of the jobs I have actually wanted to do and tried have never really worked out. I’ve tried cooking and working in restaurants. Office work never quite caught my attention. Answering phones, sorting files, and sitting behind a computer were too impersonal. I loved the human interaction of the restaurant work, however the work itself was not challenging…
