A third assessment offered is the quantitative top down constructed The Jung Typology Test that is used for prediction. Individual obtain their four letter type formula according to Carl Jung’s and Briggs-Myers’ typology approach to personality. It is a shorter version of the MBTI, providing the same information on the 16PF on a much smaller scale. The JTT has a closed end question format that forces participants to choose their answer on a Likert-scale. There is a reduction in error because there is no proctor present and the instructions are easy to read.…

According to Jung Typology Test’s result, ENTP is my personality type. The accuracy of personality tests are doubtful for me. They seem to me like the given descriptions by horoscopes, any one gets this result would probably think it was he or she, especially since it is mostly praising. So that, I looked at the weakness to figure out whether ENTP describes me exactly or not.…
I took a 72 question survey for my student success class. Humanmetrics: Jung Typology Test as it is referred to. The test consisted of vague to obvious questions to determine strengths I posses that will help me in my tenure obtain an education at Sinclair Community College and further more throughout life. My results were as follows; E.N.T.J. (Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging). I scored a 33 in Extraverted, 50 for Intuitive, 25 for Thinking, and finally 44 for Judging. A quality analysis provided this formula to me as a result. Translation of this formula suggests that I moderately expressed qualities in each.…

Have you ever wondered why each person acts and behaves so differently from each other? The reason behind each person’s behavior is through their qualities and characteristics that make them who they are. This combination of qualities and characteristics is called personality. Personality forms each person’s notable disposition or character. The science of psychology has different theories on how personality is measured in each person. The measurement of personality can be explained through multiple theories from different psychologists named Freud, Jung, Rodgers, and Maslow. These four psychologists each have their own ideas to figure out where personality comes from. Comparing these four psychologists point of view will help in the further understanding of personality.…
Personality is interpreted as a mixture of a person 's consistent behaviour, emotion and thought that illustrate the technique an individual exemplifies when responding to another individual or situation (Letzring, Wells & Funder, 2006). The specific reaction an individual presents is unique and affects their daily life in how they organise events, control emotions and make decisions. Eysenck (2004) outlines personality in a more thorough manner as he discusses it in terms of its stability, regularity throughout life,…
Very rarely so we take stock in our own well-being in the workplace and even less time is spent on determining if our personalities fit within the expected model of behavior that is expected at the organization for which we are part of. Occasionally it is good to sit back and look at oneself and determine what your personality traits are and if they coincide with your goals. According to Wan Ismail and Awadh (2011), personality can be a determining factor in one’s job performance. Further research has shown that personality differentiates one person from another (Beer & Brooks, 2011) and that personality traits remain steady and stable through ones work life (Myers, 1998). Being able to understand your own personality traits is important to unlocking your own job satisfaction needs and leadership and management abilities.…
The type of personalities of every individual is very important. While doing an evaluation of myself using Jung Typology Test, I discovered that I was an ENFJ individual. My primary objective is identity seeking. My life consists of being a teacher or a giver. An ENFJ is an extraverted, iNtuitive, feeling, and judging person. “Each of the ENFJ’s preferences compound to make them a natural convincer. Their energy comes from the outwardly directed, socially oriented, gregarious external world (Extraversion). They prefer to perceive the world as having endless possibilities and meanings (iNtuition), which they use to make subjective, interpersonally based decisions (Feelings). They prefer to live their daily lives in a structured, scheduled, and orderly fashion (Judging), (Kroeger, Thuesen, & Rutledge, pg. 386).” This means that I have extraverted feelings with introverted intuitions. I am a people- focused individual. However, I am considered a smooth talker and very persuading. It is said that ENFJ’s are natural sales people. I found it funny that this statement is true. I am an insurance agent with Allstate. My everyday life…
The Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test was very accurate with the results of my personality type. According to Humanmetrics, ISFJs are characterized by their desire to serve others or “need to be needed.” As far as my strengths are concerned, the test was extremely accurate because I am warm, friendly, and affirming by nature; service-oriented; good listener; excellent organizational capabilities; good at handling money; and taking care of daily needs. However, it was wrong on two of the weaknesses that it listed, which were, difficulty branching out into new territory and difficulty moving on after the end of a relationship. I have moved majority of my life, especially during my entire 20s as an ex-military wife and had to adapt to very different environments all the time. My most recent example would be starting college for the first time in over ten years. The other weakness about moving on after the end of a relationship, I would also say is false, because although I take my time to heal and move forward in any relationship, I don’t say I do so with difficulty. I prefer to heal and collect myself and thoughts in order to be sufficient in the next relationship. The most surprising thing I learned about myself by taking this test was the extent in which I give my time, attention, and love to others. I already knew that I was a nurturer from how I am in day to day life and being told by most people I meet, but with reading the…
In the beginning of my senior year of high school, I took the Jung Typology Test. The purpose of this test is used to determine the personality of an individual through four domain pairs, a temperament, and an overall personality profile. The first domain pair for this personality test is meant to describe how we understand ourselves and others by defining us as either an introvert or extravert. According to my test results, I am 38% extravert. The second domain pair for this personality test is meant to describe the manner in which we process our thoughts by defining us as either sensible or intuitive. According to my personality test, I am 19% intuitive. The third domain pair for this personality test is used to describe how we understand the world and make our decisions by defining us as either thinking or feeling. According to my test results, I am 41% feeling. The fourth domain pair for this personality test is used to describe how we organize by defining us as either judging or perceiving. According to my test results, I am 19% perceiving. These domain pair results…
I enjoyed taking both surveys in order to learn more about myself. When the results came out, I don’t really agree with it because I did not like what it said about me. Upon thinking deeper about the results, I realize it actually reflected my personality and tendencies very well. For example, the report says that I think things through when in a new situation. I think I learned this tendency while playing golf. If you don’t think through things, you won’t be good, with the only chance you have.…
