seven wonders of nature
South America, South Africa, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines. Which place is the best? Maybe some of you admire more of the other countries than of our own. But this is the reason why Philippines is as good as the other countries.
The countries that I’ve said a while ago belong to the Seven Wonders of Nature of the World. Isn’t it amazing that Philippines belongs to the Seven Wonders of Nature of the World? But why not? We have many beautiful tourist spots here in our country. We cannot deny the fact that there are many bodies of water here that are very awesome. And one of these is the Puerto Prinsesa Underground River which was the reason why we belong to the Seven Wonders of Nature of the World.
Puerto Prinsesa Underground River is an 8.2 km navigable underground river. A distinguishing feature of the river is that it winds through a cave before flowing directly to the South China Sea. It includes major formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and several large chambers. The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. The underground river is reputed to be the world’s longest. At the mouth of the cave, a clear lagoon is framed by ancient trees growing right to the water’s edge.
As a student, I’m very proud that our country belongs to the Seven Wonders of Nature of the World. Even though our country is facing economic problems right now, we still manage to preserve our nature. Our environment is our beauty. We have tourists because we take care of our beautiful surroundings. If we want the Philippines to be always at our place right now, we should never forget to give special attention in beautifying our surroundings.

Puerto Rico has some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen. In San Juan P.R, there are many under water caves. The cave are hidden by the green plants and leaves that stretch from the grown to the top of mountains and, surrounded in brown and green furry moss. The fresh water sparkles in the spots of light from the top of the cave. The water gives the clearest reflection like a mirror. When you look above all you can see are scattered rays of light and snake like veins hung like icicles along the cave roof. There are an array of fresh water fish that dance along the bottom of the river. The caves are almost as beautiful as the beaches in Isabella P.R. The only thing you can hear along the beach is the sound of the waves crashing toward the shore. The waves merge to the shore line as the ocean water flows back and forth, rocking along the shore. The water fades from a clear blue to a heart of the ocean sapphire blue. Billions upon billions of black and brown grains and minerals are spread throughout the beach. The view is something you have to see to believe.…

About a hundred years after the Statue of Zeus came the Temple of Artemis. It was built in the ancient city of Ephesus, or modern day Turkey. The architect Theodorus probably built the incredible temple, and he most likely did so to honor the Greek Goddess of the Moon, Artemis. Tragically, a man named Herostratus set the Temple of Artemis on fire along with a group of Goths in an attempt to have his name go down in history. He managed to do so and city officials tried to enforce a new law stating that if any one citizen of Ephesus mentioned his name, they would receive the death penalty; the attempt failed. All of religion at this point declined because Artemis did not protect her temple. The structure as well as the story is terrific. Measuring about three hundred feet by one hundred fifty feet, and the one hundred twenty seven columns each having a heighth of about sixty feet, one can easily see how the Temple of Artemis' means of construction are a complete mistery. Theodorus built the columns so that they had proportions to the human body. Aside from that, it was completed around 440 B.C. and took approximately one hundred twenty years to build. Such strenuous man labor classify this temple as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.…
