CHAPTER I

THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction
A Web site is a related collection of World Wide Web or www files that includes a beginning file called a home page. A company or an individual tells you how to get to their Web site by giving you the address of their home page. From the home page, you can get all the other pages on their site. For example, the Web site for IBM has the home page address of http://www.ibm.com. Furthermore, websites today are really popular. There are a lot of website that are people enjoying today. Base on eBizMBA the top ten websites that are most visited are Google, Facebook , Yahoo, Youtube, Wikipedia, MSN, Amazon, Ebay, Twitter, and Bing. These are the website which conquers the World Wide Web, Social networking has a big role for evey people, enabling around a billion people worldwide to stay in touch with their family and friends, share experiences and photographs and exchange personal content. In many ways it has replaced the telephone and email. For many users, it is included in their daily lives. The main concern of this study is to make a website for the school of City College of Lucena to be easier for us to communicate to our co-student and teachers.

Background of the Problem
Today it is hard for the student and school’s staff to communicate about school happenings or sudden announcement, due to lack of medium of communication. Websites today has a big role in the communication, school website is viewed as a public face and it should be more secured and liable to all users. Parents also having a hard time to monitor what their children doing while there are in school.
Then we come up with an idea that the school is need to have a website and we call it connectccl.com.

Statement of the Problem

The study attempted to answer the following questions: (Problems encountered, present, and still experiencing)

1. Website can help the student on how to be more active in school.

    The development of social networking has become more and more prevalent in society today. Before the 20th century the only way to communicate was by telephone, but as time passed, improvements in technology allowed us to stay connected with friends and family easier.
