Types of communication used in Broadway Academy
I will be looking at what types of communication Broadway Academy use. I will outline the electronic and non-electronic ways of communications used in Broadway Academy.
The school needs good communication so people can pass information between others so the school can run smoothly. Information is passed on to pupils by the teachers through assemblies etc. The school also needs good communication to clear up problems. This is done by parents being able to phone into the school if a student is absent.

This way of communication is quite formal however; it does depend on the style of writing you use in the email and the person receiving the email. This form of communication is quite popular amongst people in school because it is fast and easy to use.
Website: The school website is another form of communication used by the teachers and students. Broadway uses this to connect with parents externally and students use this as well when they are in the school. For example, Broadway has a website called FROG where students can log in to complete any outstanding work that needs to be given in to their teachers. Students are also able to send emails to other students and there is another website which Broadway have made where parents and students can access to view schools contact details and information.
Mobile Phone: When teachers are using phone contact with students it should be brief and direct as possible. Most, if not all, staff at Broadway owns a mobile phone and they can use it in school if they need to contact someone from their department.
