Can you explain people’s attitude towards same sex marriage with out religion? Can you visualize a Priest, Pastor , Justice of the law performing a same sex marriage ceremony with out the court of public opinion? Can you imagine two people of the same gender getting married without an unethical view? Do you believe non-protestants share the same view? Do you think the government plays a big role in religion? All of this refers to people with religious beliefs.
As a child we are taught to have faith and follow our parents or guardians in there beliefs. Some of us grow up to lose the faith and belief we inherited from our childhood and so religion becomes one of the most controversial, influential and sensitive issue in the world. It is so powerful as a result it’s nearly impossible not to discern same sex marriage with religion. If you go around the world to question all the different type of religious leader, what would be there answers with out being bias towards there beliefs? Same sex marriage has been advocated in the media by gay rights partly because of the judicial system. When same sex marriage was introduced, it raised a lot of unethical questions, it was the subject of all conversations around the nation. The constitution does not prevent same sex marriage, and so how come religion has such influence on this topic?
Through introductory research people’s attitude towards same sexy without religion will not have a big impact in their beliefs particularly in the non-protestant group. There are many types of religjon. There’s the roman catholics, Baptist, Jahovah witnesses, Pentecosts, Protestants, Muslems and so the list goes on. Through all of these types of religions they each have their own ways and code of ethics, and so certain way of life is not acceptable. Same sex marriage has become a hot and controversial topic ever since it was introduced because of it’s immorality in most religions. However we will discover even with rules morals and ethics same sex marriage does not have any influences in religious beliefs.

Pollitt on her argument gives different points of view of why people object to same-sex marriage. One of the reasons is Religious.
