Ryland's Paranormal Ordeal- A funny ghost story.
(At my home, at about nine o’ clock in the evening, tired and fit to sleep, I was excited for a ghost movie next morning)
“Ryland”, called my extremely irked mom, because I guess I had not done the night-brush it seems. “What’s the matter mom? “, I responded quickly. “You haven’t called Ricky yet. I guess you are really too busy, huh?” mom mocked at me sarcastically. I just secured the newly purchased mobile (of my dad!) into my hands in a flash and dialled his number. He got to his phone real fast I guess, and he answered, “Ricky Rickets, general manager of the Ghost Club, speaking”. “This fellow is quite brisk at marketing!” thought I to myself. I felt to as though toss the handy into the paper bin just for the fact that my besty friend had not even saved my number! Sometimes a free ticket to the cinemas won’t help your cause. With the extreme gut feeling, I went to sleep. Finally, the tiring night had swept away from my reminiscent mind. Off, I rushed into the cinemas with my friend waiting there for the past hour. I admit I slept a bit too long. The film was a too slapstick one in which a fiery ghost kept riding a bike while killing a thousand others. I divulge, I had been to the restroom quite often! Next he narrated his plans for tomorrow, which I accepted patronizingly though it induced a premonitory chill up my spine! I am kind of a set forth person who doesn’t like to indulge in non-adventurous activities. “RYLAND, come downstairs, quick”, a spooky, gloomy, shrieking loud voice called out to me from the dark of the house. I was sure, she was the paranormal ghost that everyone in the town was talking about. The lights had gone off and none of the switches could be reached by me in this extremely spine-chilling atmosphere. I called out so loudly, “Mom, where are you?” that, the spooky ghost started creeping towards my very own room. She came real close to me and held her hand out and patted my back

John Lasik a small structured, gray bearded man remembers a ghostly encounter from his grandfather that still makes his spine tingle to this day, though it happened more than 60 years ago. It all began in the summer of 1949, the year that John should be enjoying his bachelor life. Instead, it turned out to be the beginning of nine months of unexplained phenomena. “I was 19 when I moved into my grandfather’s house alone in Walnut Hill, New Hampshire,” he said. His only companion that moved in with him was his cat. “I was looking forward to having fun with my friends and hanging out with them,” he said. Being away from his family, John thought that he and his friends would be able to do the things normal 18 and 19 year - old boys enjoyed. But the anticipated frivolity never transpired. Instead something, or someone, breathed a heavy mist of fear into John’s livelihood.…

It was almost halloween, Just a few days away back in 2015, when we decided to go to the haunted railroad. Like any other person would do around halloween to pay a ridiculous amount for people to scare you when you can do it for free, buts that’s not the point. It was my mom, dad, two family friends; Ben, Joe, and of course I was there too. Well, my aunt Lucy and her partner Laura were supposed to go but they were too scared to go, so they just stood in the car and waited for us to come out.…

I couldn’t sleep at all last night. The nightmare of the past events haunted me all throughout the night. The visage of the body being laid out and defiled in the middle of the cold, barren road was still within my head like looking at myself in the mirror. I was near the brink of collapse, unable to bear what had just happened. I stayed in bed till about midday when I woke up from my slumber, my face dry from tears.…

The morning went so fast, I was slightly nervous about seeing Josie again since it had been three months since our last encounter. I put on a t-shirt and shorts on then stood in front of the mirror as I splashed my face with water. I looked at the clock and saw it was 11:50 so I grabbed my helmet and jacket as I pushed my motorcycle out the garage. It wasn’t until I got to the street before Subway that I realised my phone had fallen out of my pocket and I had left my wallet at home. I knew then I was going to be late and Josie was going to…

As a child, my family and I have always went camping during our breaks from school. It was always a tradition for us to tell stories around the campfire to see who told the scariest story to keep us all from getting a good night’s sleep that night. From the “Boogie Man” to the “Ghost in the Closet,” I believed these stories were real up until the paranormal became more of an everyday curiosity. I had always been fascinated with the paranormal by watching TV series that explained this phenomenon. By watching “Ghost Hunters” and “Ghost Adventures,” I had my heart set out on being a paranormal investigator.…
