That is weird!” I exclaimed. I pushed the book back towards Seraphina. She didn’t respond so I decided to go home. As I went through the town, it seemed eerily empty as I did. The town seemed too quiet, but I didn’t think much of it until I returned home. My phone was ringing off the hook.

“Hey Angela, this is Seraphina. Get down to the willow tree as fast as you can.” I heard Seraphina quickly say obviously very distressed.
“Uh… I’ll be right there.” I replied and hung up the phone. I wondered what could possibly be happening that was so urgent. As I hopped onto my bike, I was thinking about what could be in the willow tree. I rode my bike down towards the willow as fast as possible; my raven hair was getting into my eyes I didn’t even see what had happened until I reached Seraphina. Many people were standing around the tree pointing and whispering. I was confused at first, and then I realized Helena was hanging from the willow tree. She had a sign draped around her neck. It read, “I’m sorry, but I can’t kill anyone else.”
