Personal Narrative-Nolan's Dog And The Dimensional Warriors
Nolan’s Dog and the Dimensional Warriors

It was a dark and stormy night. My friend and I were surrounded by darkness, monsters in every corner, lightning striking every haunted house, and . . . zombies coming out of their nooks.
We finally reached the haunted castle. When we got in, there was a picture. It was a puppet, and this puppet was no ordinary puppet. It was. . . .
Creak! Creak! We had no time to lose. The puppet hit me in the eye, and Nolan dropped his bag. We both ran outside and heard a tiny, little stumble. Nolan yelled, “A puppy!” He decided to keep it.
Ten years later. . . . It was a bright and sunny morning. Nolan, his dog, Fuffy, and I were going to my old grandpa’s cabin. He disappeared from there eight years ago. Nolan and I were

“No. Why do you think that?”
“Stop talking. . . . No! L-L-Lava!”
Splash! “This isn’t lava, it’s cold. Oh my gosh, we are in juice!”
“I see a tunnel. Oh no! This is one of those places. I see the black screamers!”
“Just close your eyes.”
“But. . . .”
“Close them!”
“Fine, but that’s Marcus and Wyatt. Oh. We don’t want it crowded.”
“You can’t say that, they’re your friends.”
“Fffine. But what about the places?”
“Yeah. I was lying.”
“What?”
“That was a joke.”
“No?”
“Honest.”
“Pinky swear. Why did you lie? . . . Wait a minute. The dog!”
“Ha-ha-ha. Fuffy!”
“Listen up . . . in the tunnel! Hup-hup-hup! Let’s go.”
“Look out. That’s a sea monster!”
“Keller? Grab the key.
“Ahhh! Hi-ya!”
“Keller? Weird moon.”
“G-G-Ghosts! Run!”
“Wait! They have a portal. Come on.”
“Does anybody know how to use a chainsaw?”
“Yeah.” Cling Clang. Brrrr. Zzz. Slice.
“Stop! It is. . . .”
“Oh. You’re an elf.”
“I’m the snake guardian. You shall passssss.” Slam.
“Hello? Anybo—Ahhh!”
“Hello. Hello [echoing].”
“Hmm, hmm. . . .” Mom was humming and singing. “Well, here you go,” said Mom.
“Wait! How long were you in the cabin?”
“Hmm, five seconds. Bye.”
“Hello. I’m Chase, and you are now a dimensional

My chickens that I cooked were ready. Then I heard a strange sound. "B-roop", Unfortunately it was my stomach that growled. I was so hungry. I took the chicken out and starting eating like a Tyrannosaurus. The taste and the smell that came from the chicken was incredible. My stone like teeth and my thin layer of tongue chewed on that piece of chicken. You could hear the sounds of chewing like Crag! It was night when I was done eating. " Its night if I don't sleep, then zombies are gonna come in and kill me",I said to myself. I went to bed as soon as I can because I didn't want any zombies to crawl into my property. A bright light shined in my eyes. A light that made me wake up and rub my eyes. "Finally The dream is over", I said to myself. But it wasn't. I was still in the same world, same house, and same spot. I went outside. "Zombies", I screamed. I was so scared that I went in my house opened my chest and took my sword out. A Zombie came in my house and started to tear my house apart. My hand was shaking. Shaking because I never experienced this much fear in my life. I closed my eyes got out of bed and stabbed the Zombie. I saw his green blood coming out of his body, and his eyes staring at me.…

I looked to my left then to my right, it was dark all around, except for the light emanating from the flashlight mounted on my gun. I cradled my assault rifle, it was my lifeline, if it was gone, I was dead, or worse... Alive. I heard a shriek, not from a human, but from a zombie...... I looked down the alleyway ahead it was fully dark now, I heard running footsteps behind me. I turned around as fast as I could. A blood covered zombie was running toward me, I was scared for my life. I chopped the zombie down with my rifle, the muzzle flashes lighting up the ally. Suddenly I heard the blood curdling cries of many zombie- oh no, I made to much noise. Now they were pouring in from the street into the alleyway I was in. Around forty of them were coming towards me, I turned around to try to escape.. at least five more in that direction. i sprayed the five zombies down with my gun, pulled the pin on a grenade, dropped it, and sprinted in that direction. I made it onto the street.…

One night in August of 2014, my mom, Mika and I grabbed a flashlight and walked out the door into the dark night. My mom flipped on the flashlight and shone it on the bumpy path before us so we didn’t accidentally step into a ditch or trip on anything in the way. Normally nobody ever did much in the village after dark, but tonight was special.…

It was still in its nondestroyed state. I was with my friends from night one plus my friend's mother that I mentioned earlier as well, and my own parents. I walked into the building and I saw that room with a locked door that has the light on at all times. I was told to never go inside of that room. They told me that it was not for me to go into. I was going on vacation to this house for some reason so I had to unpack my bag in a bedroom. The house was very old so I ignored any movement that I heard I put my things on the bed and I was very cold. My mom called out for me to go to the main room. I went out there and noticed that people were crucified, hanged, torn in half, and burned. The door with a mysterious light was open and the girl was standing in front of it. I was afraid not because of the bodies but because the door was open. The girl motioned for me to come to her and I was unable to resist walking to her. As I got closer she looked more disfigured and evil. Her eyes were the biggest part that I remember. They were black with light pupils. She had claws like in my earlier dreams and she had a scream that paralyzed me. She ran at me and right as she was about to hit me I saw every event that I have that I have done to help or hinder people in real life. This felt like it went on forever and then I woke up screaming and in a cold sweat. My mother was trying to wake me up for ten minutes because of my screams. I knew that something was wrong at this…

My night became disastrous when the clock hit midnight meaning it was Friday the 13th and I felt an eerie sensation fill the air. I hit the hay after watching a whole season of Pretty Little Liars on my favorite TV streaming app called Netflix. As I began to fall into a deeper sleep my imagination lit up with horrid thoughts which led to a brutal dream. Ashleigh, Gillan, Matt, and I all decided to go to a haunted lake to get into the halloween vibe so we all hopped into Matt’s Jeep and drove off to the famous lake named Troubled Reservoir located in the middle of Idaho. As Matt parked his car in the parking lot we all helped each other get our belongings together which included items such as sunscreen, towels, food, and beverages. It was about…

I was never a dog lover. My kids always wanted a dog. I dug my heels in but eventually, they wore me down with chorus’ of “please can we get a dog?” Begrudgingly, I began looking for a dog. It was to be a Christmas present for my kids, an older dog, a trained dog. I knew that I did not have the patience for training and I knew that when kids say they will help; I knew exactly what that meant.…

Before I was two years old a circumstance happened which I have never forgotten. It was early in the spring; there had been a little frost in the night, and a light mist still hung over the woods and meadows. I and the other colts were feeding at the lower part of the field when we heard, quite in the distance, what sounded like the cry of dogs. The oldest of the colts raised his head, pricked his ears, and said, "There are the hounds!" and immediately cantered off, followed by the rest of us to the upper part of the field, where we could look over the hedge and see several fields beyond. My mother and an old riding horse of our master's were also standing near, and seemed to know all about it.…

    The Monster Within

As we grew up, it all faded away. The monsters that they told us were real never existed. It was indeed a relief to know that; although, sometimes later I used to wish that had I known all this back then, I probably would have been the hero among my age fellows, famous by the name of 'the fearless kid.' However, the concept was there. It had always been there while growing up and leaving the innocence behind. The monster had not yet gone away. It had stayed. Inside each one of us.…

It was almost getting dark when my cousin, Nathan, came to my room and very unusually he wasn’t speaking a word! When I asked what happened he started crying. After a while he told me that ‘Mr. Bad Boy’ had bitten him. I just lost my temper but he promised he wasn’t lying, so he took me to his room and asked the puppet what his name was. It looked really insane to me until, the lifeless piece of wood just replied in a hoarse voice, “My name is Mr. Baaaaaaaad Boooooy!!!”…
