Personal Narrative-The Big Dog
This isn't really something that happened over a number of days but anyhow...
I'm not much of a dog-person. In fact, I'm pretty awkward around anyone, so creatures that crawl up and slurp all over my crotch are no exception.
So when lodging in a new house, my roommate's dog could sense my uneasiness and decided to bark and growl at me relentlessly, letting me know that he was 'The Big Dog' when in actual fact he was very small yet very loud i.e Snooki. It got to the stage where I couldn't make a cup of tea without this 4-legged Gordon Ramsey roaring at he me constantly.
My roommate soon got concerned about her beloved Chico and his contempt for yours truly. She said that he had gotten very territorial as of late and decided to go to the vet and have him neutered. Now, myself and Chico have had our differences but I told her that he would eventually get used to me and that robbing him of his manhood might be step too far. Nevertheless, she insisted and Chico's cajones were to be no more :-(

What was proposed on poor Chico this time was a shock collar, which gave him a slight zap whenever he made any loud noises. Again, I explained to her that this was a but drastic- this time referring to Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange- but she again went through with this in the hope this would eventually calm Chico down.
The next morning Chico was a sad sight to be seen. He tried to bark and me but eventually stopped. You would think I would enjoy the silence, but I didn't. Sure, he had been corrected: but at what price? Before I moved in, he was a happy, carefree dog and now becuase of my awkwardness has got his balls chopped off, which caused an unsufferable itch he wasn't able to scratch, and if he felt pissed off by any of this, he would get a mighty great shock off it too.
