Rick Rescorla's Definition Of A Hero
“There goes my hero, watch him as he goes! There goes my hero, he's ordinary!” (Foo Fighters) Heroes are average, ordinary people with an extraordinary heart for others; heroes can be conditioned and shaped. This quality exemplifies the fact that anyone can be truly heroic. Being formed by training, I believe hero's are shaped by the following: practice, hard work, and a militarized state of mind. First, the old adage, practice makes perfect, has been passed around for centuries, and it holds true to many, many aspects of life.
