The Role Of Heroism In The Messenger
Many people think that heroes have to be muscular, have guns, or have superpowers, but they are so much more than those basic stereotypes. Those stereotypes aren't real, anybody can be a hero, anything can be a hero for that matter. A hero is a person who sacrifices something, but a hero doesn't always have to sacrifice. Being a hero could be giving a homeless person food or money.

A hero is a person that does something selfless. In the Messenger, Mattie sacrificed himself by healing the Forest for everything and everyone he loved. Even though humans or animals don't have powers, the idea is the same. In the movie October Skies, Homer Hickam goes to work in the coal mines for money because his dad got injured by saving someone
