It serves as a review of their previously taken major subject. There is always a question about which program is better; Is it the associate’s degree in nursing program provided by community colleges or the baccalaureate of science in nursing program provided by colleges and universities? One similarity is for sure that nurses from both programs can take the NCLEX-RN exam. Before I started college I was debating whether I should go to school for an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing, but because I just had a baby and the university is one hour away from our home, I decided to go ahead and enter the registered nursing program in our community college. I know that there is a lot of differences between nurses that are prepared at the associate-degree level versus the baccalaureate degree level in nursing that is why I set a goal that someday I will go back to school for my Bachelor’s degree. This paper will be explaining the difference in competencies between nurses prepared at the associate degree level versus the baccalaureate degree level in nursing by comparing their education, patient care and opportunities. This paper will also give some examples about a patient care situation in which how nursing care approaches to decision making may differ based upon the educational preparation of a BSN versus ADN.…

The practice of the ADN and Diploma nurse is the same. Each nurse is eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam. This paper will compare the competency levels of BSN and ADN/Diploma nurses.…

Leonardo DaVinci’s Mona Lisa is one of the most well-known paintings in the world. Show anyone from a 60 year old man to a 10 year old girl a picture of the painting and, most likely, they will be able to name the painting as well as the painter. While some say that DaVinci’s painting is the most famous of all created, many of Andy Warhol’s paintings are also easily recognizable. Almost everyone has seen the Campbell’s Soup Can series Warhol painted or his famous Triple Elvis print. This paper will be focusing on his Marilyn Monroe series, which I will be comparing and contrasting to the Mona Lisa. There are many obvious differences between the two paintings, such as the time period, color scheme, background and subject matter. My goal is to also point out some similarities such as their use of line, recreations, fame, and prominence in society.…

But several changes have already occurred including the dwindling employment of nurses locally and abroad and compromised quality of nursing education. The great increased in nursing enrollees lead to massive establishment of nursing schools and colleges that do not even produce quality nurses. Most of these new schools were not even accredited to have passed the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) standards (Estella, 2005). As a result, a decline in the passing rate from 54% in 2004, down to 39% in 2009 becomes noticeable (Professional Regulation Commission, 2011). There is also surplus of nursing graduates who are unemployed and underemployed. As of February 2012, about 400,000 nurses are unemployed as claimed by CHED Executive Director JulitoVitriolo and not to mention the underemployed (GMA, 2012).…

The writer makes us take Bruno’s side in this extract partly because he’s a child and every one tends to take the child’s side against a figure of authority. It also makes us side with him because he’s a strong boy who wants to make himself heard and stand up for what he believes in. This also shows he’s strong and courageous. As the text implies he shows great respect for his parents and does what he’s told by them; a quotation that supports this is ‘to be told what to do by mother and father – that was perfectly reasonable and to be expected’. When Bruno uses the proper nouns ‘mother and father’ this reminds us that Bruno is a young child. The language is very precise and careful, and we get the impression we are in Bruno’s mind. When you follow a character’s thought process you are more likely to side with them.…
