Branches twisted like distorted limb as if trying to grasp hold of me. The malformed mass towered over me, casting sinister shadows. As I walked closer, a brown sign emerged, “Redwood Forest”. Grotesque graffiti scribbled from the dying trees to the dilapidated sign, “Moonlight’s Curse”.
Gazing blankly on the graffiti, I was infected with the disease of the past. I was in another world, lost in the depth of an infinite oblivion.
